What happened to my mods?
I was playig Left 4 dead 2 and then I looked at the Add-ons Selection and found that the mods i downloaded from the workshop weren't there. I restarted the PC but nothing. Then i decided to expirement and see my "Subscription items" And nothing was there! Someone help me! I downloaded alot of Mods and then they're gone!

It's happened before, what I did last time was look for the steam workshop folder on my computer and manually install them by double clicking. That should work at least for the most part until they come back up.

It's not hard for steam to just notify people Workshop is currently down or not working. I just wasted an hour trying to find out why I cant get any l4d2 maps to install, or subscribe to anything for that matter.

where is that folder located?

The addon files download to a subfolder of Steam\userdata. When you launch the game, they get copied into Steam\SteamApps\common/(insert game here)\(insert game here)\addons\workshop.

That doesnt work with Games like Serious Sam 3, because they are only text files and pictures
