Not only maps, but given that CoH now requires that it be run through steam, and particularly due to the large number of total conversion and expansion mods either in progress or released, from a community that I have been modding with for about 6 years now.

I would particularly like to be able to distribute my content through steam, without having to prompt people to download patches etc as the work is done, and allow myself to release my work while in alpha stage and have the community see the work as it is being done.

Also, configuring mods to run through the steam version is somewhat more difficult than the original version, making the installation process automatic through steam would make it significantly easier for the average gamer to play community content.

It would only be logical to have CoH modding work through the Steam Workshop.

I agree, Steam Workshop would be a step up in modding for COH 1, and if they can, get it for COH 2 aswell
