Harder AI possible with steam workshop?
Myself and a friend of mine enjoy a good ol 'comp stomp' from time to time, the only problem is, the AI in aoe2 does not provide a challenge... RM they are hardly adequate, and in DM they play like it's rm so they get waisted anyway. is there a way to improve the AI, make them harder, etc?

If you want to be able to play with custom AIs* in multiplayer here is a workaround:

Go to scenario editor, select computer players as custom AIs, and human players as either. Then generate a random map.

Save your custom scenario.

Fire up a multiplayer game with your friend and load your custom scenario. Make sure colors are not changed (i.e. player 1 = blue, player 2 = red, etc.).

* I recommend getting these custom AIs:

"This is the AI pack for the 2012 Old vs. New AI Tournament, containing some of the best AIs ever created."
