Please Play This Map Because .....
An advertising thread with a difference. If you post here you have to give me and the rest of the steam community a good reason why we should choose to play it.

"Because its Awesome" is not a good reason
"Because I spent a lot of time making it" is not a good reason either :)

Reasons can be serious or not so serious, but they should be individual and specific to the map, and they shoud make people want to play it :)

thanks for reading anyway, I will start things off below (as an example)

Please play this map because it is beautifully designed, very chalenging, and in my opinion deserves a lot more attention than it has been getting

Please play this because it is a rare breed of map that will educate you in the art of portal flinging, and melt your brain at the same time:)

Please play this map (TURRET BOWLING!) because
1. Get revenge on those shiny fat things that killed you ever so often - throw a sphere at them using an infinite loop for momentum then placing a portal on the launching wall. Shove them into the goo!
2. Its an original concept (entirely my idea) and I'd like people to enjoy it.
3. I's safe. Bowl over turrets with spheres from the safety of behind a glass screen.
4. It has a relaxation/ deadly lazer playtime area
5. Its fun.
6. I'd like the sport to catch on and have it's own dedicated championship by next January xD

Please play my map because it shows how a small puzzle can be just as fun as a big epic puzzle.

I don't want to disappoint you, but turret bowling has existed before PTI was even out.

Please play this collection by Camerson1313 because I believe they are some of the most underated maps on the workshop. If you only have time for one try 'fly' , its favorited by mervious, no less.

@Meatbag, I love how your reason to play the map is 99% probability for failing. :D

Please play this map and leave feedback because I want to make a series our of the general concept. I would love to know what I should keep in future chambers and what I should not keep. (I don't plan on having time traveling as the main feature that defines the series, but the door that alters the world as you pass thruogh. Its just this first one that is about time travel.)

Please play this map because:
a. It's WAY underrated.
b. It's difficult. (hint: in test 1, look before you leap)
c. The Old Aperture styling is amazing.
d. There are two endings.
e. There is custom voice acting.
f. Who doesn't want to be kidnapped by an insane billionaire who tries to "promote" you to janitor?

Please play this map because:
a. It's WAY underrated.
b. It's difficult. (hint: in test 1, start at the exit door and work your way backward. Look at signs.
c. The Old Aperture styling is amazing.
d. There are two chambers but both are missing some elements due to them colliding, you must use assets from both of them to solve the puzzle.
e. There is a custom enrichment sphere model.
f. Who doesn't want to solve a purely logical puzzle under the guidance of an insane billionaire?

Did you notice how similar my reasons are?

Please play this map because:
a. It introduces a cool new style with warm lighting, texture variety, glass over goo with reflective lights, and glass and grating covering walls.
b. It has GLaDOS.
c. It's easy and will give you a break from the hard tests above.
d. There are no insane billionaires.

Please play this map because:
a. It introduces a cool new style with half old-aperture and half clean and buttons in strange places for a PTI map.
b. It has a new funnel and cube dropper.
c. It's easy and will give you a break from the hard tests above.
d. There are no insane billionaires.
e. I'm supposed to make 2 maps in the same post have similar reasons, my ruler can't catch me doing this so it's in spoilers: I did some PTI rescripting to move buttons to weird places.
