You can vote on Greenlight regardless of your level. You do not need to be level 5.

Apparently OP has already voted even though he is lvl 4... so yeah there is no merit at all to that steam lvl 5 rumor.

I just think this is idiots feigning further idiocy to gain their spam-a-forum badges. Seems unlikely that a large quarter of the Steam community has been struck by a sudden bout of stupidity, rather they just can't work up the effort to post something even remotely sensible.

Maybe they recently changed their password and somehow SteamGuard is involved in preventing them from voting? :S
