Steam Greenlight

What happens if a publisher or developer goes under when their game is greenlit?
A-Train 9's publisher, Cyberfront, just announced they were closing up. Will the game not come out on Steam even though it was greenlit? Does anyone know if publishers going under during the Greenlight process affect the game's release?

Your question echoes a number of other similar cases. It depends on a number of factors, not least jurisdiction. In UK law, the rights would be sold off as with any other asset, probably by a corrupt and mismanaged "receiver" who won't give a ****. The fact that the game has a place waiting for it on Steam should help to raise the value of the asset, and receivers are duty bound to make efforts to achieve the best value for assets of a company in their charge, but really they're just fronts for the bankers who caused the debts in the first place, and often undersell the goods so as to provide bargains for other companies.

There is another company that released A-Train 8 on Steam, Degica, so maybe they'll pick it up? They did mention releasing other games in the series...
