Left 4 Dead 2 Workshop items disappeared?
During today's Steam downtime I launched L4D2 in offline mode. All the addons in my workshop folder did not load, which didn't seem to be an issue. Once Steam was online again, I launched L4D2 and it began to redownload all my subscribed items. I checked the addons/workshop folder and all the VPK files were deleted. All my non-workshop VPKs were intact, even in offline mode.

Has anyone else had this issue?

It seems to be the way the Workshop works. I've heard several other stories with similar accounts.

That's a shame. It isn't a big problem for me since I have decent internet, but I could only imagine having trash internet and having to deal with that. Valve, get it together.
