Yeah, the staff enchanter sucks. I would have liked to see it tied in with Enchanting and its perks. I guess the point of it is that you don't actually need any Enchanting to make one.

I understand the enchanter only doing the basic staff - I 'got that'.

But if thought Neloth's creations would be a little 'more' - maybe 2 Enchantments on them or something. But all of them are easily gotten in Skyrim w/little to no effort.

I think Neloth's big breakthrough is the ability to create staffs without having ANY magical or enchanting skill whatsoever. It's like a staff vending machine. Insert blank staff and heartstone, poof! New staff!
