What screen resolution would you like for a game?
I was thinking about 800x600, but what do you think?

The highest and a vast choice in between. What kind of slack dev would only provide a few specific resolutions?

I could just about wind my old monitor down to that resolution, but it would look like 20 years ago. Why, why for the love of Joe Pesci would you force that on people?

Seems you're two-for-two on the 'carrying on a conversation only you're aware of' tally, 'TheBlissterGaming'.

But back then he would have been using lo-res on a CRT based screen, he probably doesn't even realise how ugly that would be on flatscreen, or why.
