There do exist some maps were it is required to sacrifice the cube to progress further into the map. I take it one step further with coop since death doesn't mean failure in that mode like it does in single player mode. It is convtroversial to kill the bots though. I can only think of one coop map that tries it. http://www.steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails?id=252350315 It is hard to get players comfortable with doing it though.

Only one map requires death of the partner. Since this is not single player, I figure bots are like cubes and you can create some interesting puzzle designs by sacrificing them.

There seem to be a lot of situations with inevitable dying of one or both partners. Is this intended? Rescue points are more elegant in such cases.
