Frozen Endzone is the follow-up to Frozen Synapse, bringing simultaneous-turn-based gameplay to the sport of American football...with robots. If you've never played Frozen Synapse, simultaneous-turn-based gameplay takes tactics to the next level. Sorry there was no spotlight last week, but I was at GDC 2013 instead :)

In any case, this week's spotlight is Death Inc., part real-time strategy, part god game, part business simulation. There's a demo to check out that gives you a taste of the game's basics, including the very smooth "painting" control system. Go read the spotlight and give the demo a whirl:

Three weeks ago, I presented a game (Project Awakened) that strives to let you be who you want to be. This week, I present a game that strives to let you build what you want to build.

Planet Explorers is a voxel-based, open-world adventure RPG that's reminiscent of the best aspects of Minecraft, Scribblenauts, and Spore. Check out my spotlight and go download the alpha demo!
