Open Beta Demo Update 1.1
22 February 2013 - Playstos

Thanks to the feedback provided by the players of the Open Beta, an update has been issued, with several fixes and new features. Here's the full list:

  • Added a new track
  • Added support for screens not able to display at 1280x720 resolution natively
  • Sound Card is no longer required to launch
  • Improved Sound Effects
  • Added customizable controls mapping
  • Added rotating camera option
  • Added quick online messages for Arcade Online Quick Race
  • Several graphical fixes

A patch, as well as the full updated installer are available on the demo download page for download on the RWR Website.

Real World Racing Open Beta Demo Now Available!

We are very pleased to announce that the Open Beta Demo for Real World Racing, is now available for download at the RWR official Website www.realworldracing.com.

The RWR Open Beta Demo features:

  • Online Multiplayer up to 16 players
  • 3 Tracks from the final game, set in Rome, Berlin and London
  • 6 Cars from the middle point class in the final game
  • Single Player Arcade Mode
  • Time Trial Mode
  • Garage for car browsing and customization

Open Beta Demo – Update

The upcoming Open Beta Demo of Real World Racing has been slightly delayed due to a few issues with the online multiplayer, which we are particuralry eager to get right for everybody to enjoy seamlessly.

It is still coming, and very soon, hopefully during the weekend, or during next week.

Public Beta, Development Status and More!
13 December 2012 - Playstos

It's been a few months since we landed on Greenlight, and a lot has been happening in the development of Real World Racing. RWR has now reached early alpha stage and we're finalizing features by the hour. The game is looking better and better, and soon we'll have to update our videos and screenshots. Also, RWR is now bound for release during Spring 2013.

As previously hinted, we are now ready to announce a Public Beta complete with online multiplayer coming very early in 2013. The Beta will be available through RWR's website http://www.realworldracing.com/ which is currently being slightly revamped, so be sure to bookmark and check it out soon.

We would like to thank everybody that supported us with their vote and those who contributed with their comments. We are still halfway through from being eligible to be greenlighted, so please spread the word about RWR with your friends!
