This game has been Greenlit by the Community!

The community has shown their interest in this game. Valve has reached out to this developer to start moving things toward release on Steam.

Campaign mode is progressing fairly smoothly and I posted a video a short while ago showing the new gameplay elements:

April 3 - ArenMook

That's what I see the unexpected Greenlighting -- an unexpected poke -- a nudge to get crackin'.

Fortunately I've restarted the game's development earlier this year with the focus on the co-operative Campaign Mode set in a procedural world as I planned from the beginning. As such, the game that's freely playable right now will be quite different from what will be eventually released here on Steam. Instead of 10-15 minute skirmishes you'll start playing in your own, and you can expect to spend quite a few days there by yourself or with your friends, progressing through it together.

I am to make the multiplayer experience seamless -- your friends will be able to join your server at any time (which you can host externally or right from within the game), and will get to keep their ship -- their "character", to speak of -- along with all their progress when they leave. Likewise if they have a ship already created, they will be able to bring that into your world.

Both you and your friends will begin your adventuring with neutral reputation in regards to the in-game factions, and that's the only part of the game that will not be carried over with the ship. All reputation changes will stay on the server.

World modifications -- and indeed there will be plenty -- from being able to alter the terrain somewhat to placing structures and even founding new towns, will also remain on the server along with the world. Any items you find, unlocks and talents will remain with your ship.

I will post some videos of the Campaign Mode in the coming weeks.
