Crimsonland
The End (of waiting) is nigh
May 7 - 10tons

We're so happy to finally be able to show the new stuff! We ended up overhauling the game a lot more than originally planned, but we're getting close to having it all done. New graphics, new UI, new episode, same old awesome gameplay!

Unfortunately this hasn't meant only delays, but will probably also push Mac and Linux versions until after holidays (to Q3, about).

We've also updated http://www.crimsonland.com/, sign up there for email updates and stay tuned!

There is local two player coop!
Cyber Killer: Like the announcement says, Linux and Mac versions will be there, but quite possibly not right away. It all depends if we get them done before summer holidays or not.
Oh, and the Fire Bullets situation is still in flux! There's hope yet for friends of fire shotguns.

Too bad about the no online play, will there atleast be a local multiplayer?
As I've said before the main reason why I wanted to play this again and see it remastered was to be able to play multiplayer, otherwise I'd agree with the others saying the original is as good as any.

All the best~

Thanks for the comments!

A few answers: We haven't locked down the price yet. We have some ideas about the classic version too, but it won't be present in the remastered game (except that 99% or so of code is the same). Flame bullets will be a single bullet automatic fire (probably, that's the way it is now). NO online play whatsoever, it's just not doable without a full rewrite. We're looking into giving a free key or a discount to existing Crimsonland customers, but that work is still ongoing. It's unlikely we won't offer something, free key is probably the most likely thing.
