Crimsonland has been Greenlit. Yes! A big thank you from everyone at 10tons to all the fans, gamers and supporters who voted and otherwise helped Crimsonland through.

Now the real work begins. Well, we've done quite a bit of remastering of the codebase already, but much remains to be done. While we have a lot of other high priority work going on that we simply can't put on hold, we have every intention to honor our original promise of getting the game released within 90 days from today.

With patience comes great reward. It took 15 years to release Duke Nukem Forever; we just have to wait 4 years more for CL2.

That's goog to hear, I'm really looking forward to playing the enhanced edition. I guess a few more months of wait really don't matter any more at this point.

Heh, the CL2 situation does stink, doesn't it? We're really sorry about that and not repeating that here. We figured after 10 years and more than a year on Greenlight a few months of more delay is a drop in an ocean. It's also worth noting that the delays are *also* due to us going bigger on the remastering work. Currently we're planning on recreating more or less all graphics instead of just retouching a little here and there.

Crimsonland has been done for about 10 years, Crimsonland Remastered (what we'll release on Steam) is about... 30% done. Prior commitments have dragged on far longer than we expected, and we've just recently been able to start on the remaining work. We'll fail royally on our original target release date, but hope to have the game out in April(ish).
