SickBrick
April 25 - MLX

Hello, I'm Mladen Bošnjak. I created SickBrick and made all of its models, textures, story, animation and maps. Ron "Maxwolf" McDowell did the programming.
We published SickBrick on Steam in January 2015. Maxwolf signed the agreements with Valve and the money goes through him first since he is in Canada and I'm in Croatia and it's a lot easier for him to set up payments, taxes and so on.

In December 2016 Maxwolf removed my access from SickBrick on Steamworks, so I can't see the revenue, generate keys or do anything related to SickBrick. He also stopped sending me my cut of the money earned from SickBrick and is not replying to any emails.
Valve says they have no way to verify I'm the developer of the game, so I'm asking you, the lovely people of the internet, for help.

In an attempt to get Maxwolf talking and to convince Valve I'm the principal developer of SickBrick, I wrote an open letter in which I explain the events that transpired leading to me being stripped of my game and the revenue earned for it on Steam and other places.
You can read that letter here.[medium.com]

SickBrick has passed Greenlight a few weeks ago and since then we've been working tirelessly to update the game to Steam's standards. We've finished work on the game a few days ago and have released the game on Steam!

Lo and behold it has just been released!
Check out the steam page of the game!

Here's a few new things to expect in the Steam release of SickBrick:

  • Updated graphics
  • Trading Cards
  • Achievements
  • New gameplay elements
  • Engine optimizations
  • New animations on weapons and enemies
  • More music variation
  • a million other things I can't think of right now.

That's it. We hope you check out the game on Steam! Peace out!

We are in the final testing phases for the Steam version of SickBrick and it's looking really good! Shaders are optimized, better AI using navigation mesh, weapon bobbing and weaving animations, tons of speed improvements on maps to maximize your FPS and quality. The expected release date is January 30th, but this is an estimate.

If something bad happens in testing we will fix it, the Steam version of SickBrick will be the best one yet! Looking forward to showing everybody all the work we have done!

It's happening! SickBrick is getting onto Steam. We are currently working on updating the games code to latest specs and dusting it off after the last couple of years. Currently we are working on adding Steamworks support for achievements and steam cloud support for your save games!

If everything goes according to plan we could have the game ready for launch before the end of the month!

March 25, 2014 - MLX

SickBrick is being featured on the Groupees Spotlight for the next two days, so if you want to snag it for a buck, you can do that HERE[groupees.com].

Everyone who buys it there will get steam codes once SickBrick gets on steam.
