Little Racers STREET
Announcing the "Not Greenlit" edition! Free on Desura!
December 1, 2012 - WaaghMan

Update: Greenlight game approval bandwith got increased tenfold during the past months and LRS got through!

Ok, so Little Racers STREET will never get Greenlit (due to many reasons: Not popular genre, unknown developer, unknown game, not done through Kickstarter... ), but we know that the game isn't the culprit of this, and we know many of you people had real interest in playing the game.

So, from now on, Little Racers STREET will be available for free on Desura. You will get full access to the game, and check what Steam users won't ever get, because of how Greenlight works.

We had great hope in Greenlight as a tool for unknown indie developers with great games to get to Steam, including this game, which would have allowed us to improve the game even further, with continous updates and additional features. Sadly, that won't just happen.

So, have fun playing the game!

@Faben Pastel It did help the people who got the game for free. But yeah, we need a PR manager.

This post is lame and doesn't help at all. You need a PR Maneger urgently.

@a kawaii kouhai Yeah, it doesn't. The point wasn't to help our cause, but to give players the game for free for some time.

Dude, I think you have a neat little game here, but the passive-aggressiveness does not exactly help your cause.

Yeah, get that game to Greenlight as well! I think it will be fun to play it sometimes on my Linux. :)

@Matt.59491 It may be, Greenlight is not helping at all with this sentiment of bitterness. Anyway, it's pretty much our feeling. LRS is at an "Indie Royale" level, but not at "Humble Bundle".

After all, most games in HB are works were developers have been working over a year, or have had good press reception (note I've not even mentioned the word "fun", an area where I think LRS is on par with them), and LRS is a 3 months work.

@WaaghMan you sound a little bit defaitist. Sorry, but if you think that your game is not good enough, why do you sell it ? You don't believe in your own game? It seems that Linux users are wasting their time trying to convince you... Anyway, in case you change your mind (and attitude), you can still apply to Humble Bundle by filling a form on the contact page of the site. . Have a nice day.

Coould you maybe put up a donation page on your website using paypal or chipin or something? I dont have a lot but to get development rolling I would do that.

@matt.59491 Little Racers STREET is not good or famous enough to be on Humble Bundle. It's not something they told us, it's just our feelings.

We've said it before, but we'll be porting to Linux if the game gets Greenlit.
