Centration
Unconstructive Comments, Progress Report, Potential Alpha
February 11, 2013 - noms || Angry Engineers

If you are planning on posting or commenting on this greenlight entry, please note that we expect your comments and threads to be concise, constructive and to have a point beyond trolling and general unconstructive complaints.

We are fully aware that there are no gameplay videos, being the ones who haven't made any yet. The reason for this is that we're not satisfied with the look and visual style of the game yet. The features are already in full development, we have full dynamic airflow running, a dynamic electrical power grid, interaction, multiplayer and other basic infrastructure ready. We're currently in the process of writing in gameplay content (round-based modes, job roles, etc.) alongside polishing the previously mentioned sections. We feel that after we're satisfied with these areas, and have improved on the visual style, that we'll be able to present you an alpha release by the end of Summer. (We hope.)

The game does definitely exist, 20~ of us are working diligently around the clock on Centration and comments claiming the contrary are, to be quite honest, insulting to us and the hard work we're putting in. These types of comments, including derogatory and offensive posts will be printscreened, reported to Steam, and the offending comments taken down.

I hate to be the one to say this guys, but it's a -game-. Let's not all take it so seriously, huh?

That aside, I hope you guys are enjoying 2013 so far, we definitely are.

Oh, and we'll have a video for you guys next weekend hopefully.

Thanks for your continued support and/or understanding, guys.

I didn't find what 3d is good for ss13, but vote for you. Good luck!

I have just gotten into SS13 and the reddit page when I noticed Centration. I would definitely LOVE to play an inspired 3D version of SS13 (hopefully that doesn't insult you guys). Keep up the hard work, I'm followin and given support as I can!

Cheers guys (and gals?)! Very excited for the gameplay you've described in your videos!

Take your time and get your visual style RIGHT, in a game that has hand-to-hand combat, where you're going to be in other people's faces, it is imperative. Make it as visceral as you've described it!

Best hopes!

I can only hope this will be as disturbing as ss13 in the end

I get that you're upset about some troll or other, and that's all well and good, but come on. There's no call to be condescending. And I shall take games as preciesly as seriously as I wish, thankyouverymuch.

Agreed, Sarge!! And trying to get some on Greenlight that aren't yet even!!

Thanks for the clarification on that one. I don't think anyone seriously believes this is a hoax project, and everyone (probably you most of all) is looking forwards to more public releases about this game.

Looking back on the Greenlight list (yes, I have voted them all) there are far, far worse entries to dump scorn on than Centration, and even so - isn't that a tiresome waste of time and energy? Far better to find those Greenlight Gems and let others know about them.

Hey Sgt.Psycho - thanks for that update, we didn't notice that, when we first submitted Centration that wasn't a requirement, and nobody has brought it to our attention since. Needless to say as we've said in the update, we'll be getting one up as soon as possible.

Thanks for constructively pointing something out to us. :)
