We have been Greenlit, thanks to our players old, new, and those who are interested in the game!

We are now talking with Valve about next steps, so keep your eyes on this space.

It's going to be great!

We are doing great, but we still need some votes! Tell your friends, and thanks so much for all of the votes so far!

We are excited and delighted to say that we have been able to push Illyriad on Steam Greenlight, the service that provides indie games like Illyriad a chance to appear on the Steam network alongside thousands of other titles.

But, we need your help!

If you can, vote here our Greenlight page after signing in to your Steam account. Once you are signed in, you can then vote on the Illyriad Greenlight page to say "I would like to see this game on Steam."

We're reaching out to you and our playerbase because players, old and potential new ones, have helped us achieve great things before!

Like everyone else here we'd love to have an increased influx of new players to Elgea and the Broken Lands of Illyriad! Illyriad has been running for over half of a decade now and we know that the experienced vets are looking for newbies to teach! With Steam as a distribution platform, we could get many new people to share the same gameworld and servers that our players are already playing on.

We'd also very much welcome comments posted by you guys on the comments area!

If you do not wish to vote for Illyriad, that's fine as well! Either way, enjoy the game once it is out on Steam, and thanks for reading.

Hi Everyone,

Throughout the entire month of September, the Tinkers are running a server-wide alliance tournament.

As well as being fun, it's also our opportunity to test the Tournament API key.

Tournament details are available here.[]

Has now been released. You can issue it from the API keys page on your account profile. I'll be opening up a page (and will link from here) in the Technical Discussions forum, with further details.

Some NPCs were performing attacks on player races that were ostensibly not supposed to be attacked. They've been retrained, and will now avoid attacking players with whom they have a standing better than negative 50.

However, please be aware that faction units may or may not observe the Peace of the Camp rule if you are sharing a square with people they hate. Whether they choose to attack depends on the personality traits of the faction itself.

Faction aggressiveness has been generally raised, especially around Calumnex.

A bug has been closed that allowed sitters to spend the prestige of the account they were sitting on avatar changes.

There are still a few outstanding bugs that we're working on, plus we're trying to return a method of buying prestige natively into the Windows 10 app in conjunction with Microsoft. We hope to have updates over the next few days or weeks.

Alright, the totals are in and many thanks to the fantastic Illy players we were able to send in donations! We matched what you sent in and gave $1434.00 total to the Children's Tumor Foundation! []

In case you did not know, players Kodabear and Digioso recently used Illyriad's in-game tools to put on an in-game tournament to highlight the Foundation. After the tournament, players got together to donate money to the fund by sending the developers Prestige, the in-game real money currency. The developers then topped off the total and donated it in the name of Illyriad's players! (You can see the receipt below.)

It's great to know that the funds will go mostly to research. According to the CTF's website, 53% goes to research, 29% to education and patient support, 12% to fundraising, and 6% to management.

From the website:

"Traditionally, medical research has been based on a culture of competition between scientists, who were pitted against one another to discover cures and treatments. This model led to data stockpiling, a process that ultimately delayed the drug discovery process.

Frustrated by this traditional model of drug research and driven by our belief in a culture of collaboration, the Children's Tumor Foundation formulated a strategic plan to accelerate the cure for neurofibromatosis by actively engaging all stakeholders in NF research: patients, scientists, doctors, pharmaceutical companies and the biotechnology field.

In a few short years, we have grown from a foundation that funds promising science to one that catalyzes the drug discovery process through a series of innovative processes, key partnerships and strategic investments.

The Children’s Tumor Foundation is so much more than a funder of scientific research. We have revolutionized the field of NF research, forging new pathways for one reason and one reason only: to benefit the millions of people living with NF."

Thanks again to the Illyriad players for their giving spirit! And, of course, thanks a ton to Kodabear and Digioso for helping us learn more about this cause.
