Hello Everyone!

We are happy to announce that we now have an alpha server available for people to log in and check the game out. This is our first open test so keep in mind there will be chance of lag/bugs, but we have done extensive testing so it should be a great experience for all. We use dropbox to distribute the client, the link is here:

1. download the zip file
2. unzip the file
3. click the alphaclient.exe
4. enter your name within 10 seconds or you will need to restart the client and login again. (this is a temporary issue until we have the lobby installed which will be a completely different login method.)

that's it and you should be able to log in, if you have any initial problems try using a lower screen resolution or lower quality setting. Keep in mind this is a test server so reboots/server wipes/and other things could happen. Also there currently is an object pooling memory leak that builds up over time restarting client occasionally should help prevent client crashes until it's resolved.

Thanks so much for your patience, we will be logged in as well so just chat any bugs you find and we will make a note of it.

hello everyone,
just wanted to touch base and let everyone know things are going great. This is our first game so unexpected things and decisions to optimize graphics and other things have taken precedence over releasing our alpha test. We are close though so keep checking in and we should have the alpha download information posted to our group and here, and it won't be a frustrating experience but an almost release experience. When we do open the alpha test flood gates it won't be to test game mechanics, everything should be working at that point, it will merely be to test how many people we can log into a server at once. We appreciate your support and patience.

Just wanted to thank everyone for their support! We should have test servers up next wednesday, it will last for a couple days and allow us to gather any last minute information we need to fix before our launch. Check our group/greenlightpage/website for information as we have it :)

Just a quick update, things are coming together great. Our currently posted videos are merely rough mechanic demonstrations from awhile ago. We just wanted to let everyone know the things people have said need fixing are in fact fixed already. People pointed out combat mechanics needed worked on, it was merely a timing issue with hit detection for particle effects and sound coordination. All fixed! People have pointed out that our textures and graphics needed work, you will be very pleased when you see what we have:) the videos had no lightmapping among a ton of other technical mumbo jumbo that makes a world of difference. We saved these steps for last to save us load times as we stop and start clients TONS during programming. Also there were placeholder graphics in place till we could work in blender and crank out some new models with correct uv maps. All fixed!
Also we have discussed it and we should have been posting an update log all this time but it slipped our minds. When we launch we will give a daily progress log on our website so you guys can see what we are working on and what we finished that day. Honestly our daily update log is what alot of current indie games are putting out in weekly updates. It's 4th of july and we both have 12+ hours logged in. Thanks for your support everyone you wont be dissappointed! HAPPY 4TH OF JULY
