First of all, I want to thank you for the patience regarding the development. We know a lot of you are waiting for the game impatiently so we're trying to get it done as soon as possible, but without trying to skip features that might make the game better.
I will address some of the questions that have been asked mostly.
When will it be released?
There is no set release date yet. However believe me when I say, we are working on full time to get the game done as soon as possible. However we obviously can't skip features which make Disrupt what it is.
Why is the development taking so long?
One of the main and most important features in Disrupt is the customization. Disrupt is made in a way that allows the players to edit and change almost all of the values. That obviously takes time for us to develop and make sure that everything will work perfectly when the players play around with the editor.
Apart from that, when Disrupt was Greenlit, it was at a very early stage of the development. And you can understand that it takes time to make that version into a fully playable one.
As I've said before, there will be language support. However chances are that it own't be included on release. The reason for that is that it takes resources, time and money to translate the game into different set of languages, something that we can't afford at the moment. However the languages will be added as an update after release.
EDIT: Alternatively, if any Russian speaking folks that are interested in helping us translate the game least to Russian for release, please email us at: contact [at] disruptgame [dot] com
Can you post more updates?
I usually post screenshots on the game through Twitter almost every Saturday. Please follow us there to check the updates: @DisruptGame
Thanks for the support everyone and if you have any question, tweet at us on Twitter!

I'm pleased to announce that language support is going to be available after a huge request from the community.
The language system is going to only have an impact on the menus and other similar UI options. The console commands are going to remain in English along with the in-game content (missions, chat cutscenes etc). However the players will be free to translate the in-game content to any language that they want through the content creator.
Regarding which languages are going to be available, I can't confirm anything at this point however it is most likely that the Spanish, Russian and Portuguese languages will be the main supported ones.
Thank you for the support,

First of all I want to thank everyone of you for the support you've given. It's tremendous and I didn't expect such positive reaction. So thank you!
Disrupt is currently 96% of the way to the top 100 so if you want to support the game further, share it around!
On other subject, I went through the comments and decided to answer some of the most frequent questions here:
Q: When will it be released?
A: There is no set date for the release but we're hoping to release it somewhere in 2014.
Q: Will there be a beta or early access?
A: None of them is currently planned but that can change any moment. Regarding helping us test the game, if we're in need of testers, it will be announced through Twitter (@DisruptGame) and here.
Q: Will there be a Mac and/or Linux version?
A: Seeing as this project is mainly a one-man team, I will be focusing only on the Windows release for the time being. After the release, I will look into the possibility of releasing on other platforms.
Q: Will there be a demo?
A: At the moment, no. But as we're getting close to the release, the chances of releasing a demo will be higher.
Q: What will the price be?
A: The price hasn't been decided yet but most likely it will be 10 dollars.
Q: Can we expect other languages supported?
A: As it is, you can freely create new missions with the language that you want to. Regarding the menus and such, I will look into it however the chances of translating the terminal/console commands are highly unlikely since they are pretty much the same in every language system.
Q: Will the story be engaging/long/fun to play?
A: That is my goal. However if you at any point don't like the way the story is heading in-game, you can hop in the editor/content creator and modify the story or just create a new database with a whole new story, missions, characters, servers, cities etc.
A: Yes! I love Uplink! I grew up with it. It's an awesome game and it's awesome to be compared with it. I hope we'll reach the same level and hopefully offer more.
Q: What can I do to help more?
A: Share the Greenlight page to your friends. It really helps and I am grateful for it.
Once more, thank you for the amazing feedback.

I've been working on Disrupt for sometime now and the I've decided that Steam Greenlight would be the best way to spread the message about the game, apart from giving the game a great publicity. We need your help to take the development of the game into the next level and every yes vote counts.
Thank you for your time,
