Dragons of Elanthia
Mac and Linux Support
November 2, 2013 - Simutronics
Many of you have asked us if we're planning to support Mac and Linux in addition to PC.
Since we're developing Dragons of Elanthia in Unity, Mac and Linux support have always been on the agenda. We've only recently started testing on these other platforms to see how things will work out.
Things are going great on this front. Unity allowed us to quickly create a Mac build, jump in a game and get flying without any changes to our code. So this is a go.
Linux support in Unity is more experimental. So far we've not gotten it to work, but the folks at Unity are working with us to resolve the issues. We're hopeful we'll have this working soon too. Of course Linux comes in many flavors, so this will be highly dependent on your exact distro, GPU and drivers.
Unity boasts quite a list of major platforms, so we will do our best to try to bring our game to your platform of choice!

P.S. Did we mention we have Kickstarter going? :)
