Updates Phase 1

As I get new graphics or make changes, I'm going to add a comment on this announcement for each one. As I add them, I'll update the videos and screenshots to include them.

For the first one, I have new health, mana, and experience orbs in that are much better than the one's I first used. I'm also working on flushing out all the abilities for the player and tweaking the combat to be based on damage reduction and having armor class used for that with dexterity being a separate dodge modifier.

I've implemented an initial story line and am polishing that up. The Beta for the game will end after this month, after which, I will be taking the download link down while I do another month of final polish before making the game available for sale.

I finished all the abilities and updated some screenshots. I'm now working on stories and biography playing into the game.

I'm working on the final (tier 4) abilities for each class. After that, I will finish up the creatures and flush out the levels of the tower. Then I'll add in the story lines.

Added in tier 3 abilities for the assassin: double shot, numb, and set trap. I'm now going to work on mystic abilities, one of which will be an AoE attack and the other a strong single target attack.

More abilities for the rogue: parry and poison shot. I've also made it so a guardian defends each level before you can go up the stairs. I'm now working on traps and more skills, and also dialogs that popup periodically to help the player along in the game. These dialogs will be presented by the "tower master" :)

Two new abilities added for the barbarian: shield bearer and fight of the lion. Also made ranged attacks and meele attacks available at the start in the specialty column. I'll also add the biographical traits to that column, as well as future abilities which will turn up during game play depending on your biography :)

Just got back from Alaska and was able to get some work done while I was there. I'll be posting new videos and screenshots this week of the new abilities, items, and creatures I made.

Added a new video showing a tier 2 barbarian skill, berserker charge. It's an expensive ability that lets you move a few tiles onto a blank square and attack something around you. Useful for closing distance or running away.

I've also added tier two mystic abilities: Sensura Pontana - the words of speed - a self buff that greatly increases dexterity and Mind Expansion, which will permanently boost your intelligence and wisdom. I've added another column to abilities called 'Specialty' which will contain abilities depending on your biography chosen that will surface themselves during the game.
