I want to thank everyone who has left feedback, both positive and negative. Though I haven't been able to implement every piece of feedback, there were many things implemented based on suggestions, so thank you very much for the support.

October 27, 2013 - Lord Eglathia

Tower of Eglathia is getting very close to being ready for release and as such, I will be taking it out of Beta on the 1st of November, 2013. That means the download link for it will be taken down and the way to get it in the future will be to buy a retail copy of the game. Don't worry, the price point of the game will be low and affordable. I look forward to the official release, hopefully before Christmas of this year!

July 23, 2013 - Lord Eglathia

As I get new graphics or make changes, I'm going to add a comment on this announcement for each one. As I add them, I'll update the videos and screenshots to include them.

For the first one, I have new health, mana, and experience orbs in that are much better than the one's I first used. I'm also working on flushing out all the abilities for the player and tweaking the combat to be based on damage reduction and having armor class used for that with dexterity being a separate dodge modifier.

July 19, 2013 - Lord Eglathia

I just want to say thanks to everyone who has shared feedback so far. This feedback is invaluable as I will use it for the future direction of the game. Here are some of the key things I've heard from you:

* Update the graphics and UI - I will be doing this and have a graphic designer I will pay to do professional UI and graphical artwork. Look for that in the coming weeks/months.
* Add story to the game - I plan on doing this by making the biography chosen at the beginning influence game play, and having events occur each level that further reveal the mystery of the tower.
* Continued polish - I have plenty of additional creatures, items, skills, and fine-tuning to do in the game and will continue to work on this.

Thanks everyone for your feedback - it is truly valued and welcome, even if it is critical or you want to make fun of me or my game :)

Today marks the first day of the Steam Greenlight quest for Lord Eglathia. I've been playing computer games since I was 5 (I'm 35 now) and am particularly fond of fantasy RPG games. Tower of Eglathia is a modern-day rogue-like and a throw-back to the classic games of old. Please join me on this quest by leaving feedback and suggestions as I continue to polish and develop this product for you.
