Kickstarter campaign stretch goals - Newton Laws & Flightless Birds

Okay guys, first Kickstarter content update!! We are humbled by your support, and since we want to expand the potential of our game into a bigger, better project, we are planning several stretch goals for our crowdfunding campaign in case we exceed our initial goal.

Starting this Monday, we will discuss with you guys several new goals to help us spread the word and make Candle better. These are our first impressions:

Based on the feedback we've collected, we are adding a Mac&Linux stretch goal. In fact, it will be the very first one to achieve. As you can read on our project's FAQ, we have 0 experience regarding those platforms, and so we wanted to be honest and not promise something that we couldn't deliver on day one to all our supporters. That said, many people is asking us to do so, so we will add that as an stretch goal to fund a longer development to help us port the game.

Also, we are already working on gamepad support, so you can all play Candle the way you want at launch. Unity 4 allows us to work for all these goals so we are definitely going for them!

Some people has also asked us for a simpler, cheaper limited retail edition of the game (current's at $200), we are trying to solve that. We appreciate your feedback and tips, so we may add a more affordable reward with a simpler physical edition (just the game, no add-ons) for all you collector's out there! More news this next week.

And finally, we wanted to tell you that you can PM, e-mail or tweet us to ask whatever you want! You are our beloved supporters and a growing community, so we want to keep in touch with you. Starting July, 24th we will make a series of team members introductions and AMAs on Reddit, let us know if there's anything you want to know!

I've been following your progress, and can only responed through steam which is a fantastic company to be part off ,I really do hope you young people reach your goals and continue on to produce some more great and enjoyable game's ,as you deserve it given all the hard work and hours put into your project ,just remember to never give up, as time's are tough for all off us, and just believe in yourselfs OK thats all for know BYE.

Thanks for the response,I was concerned I said something wrong ,because this is all new to me ,when you took my message of the screen I was stressed and still am ,so I hope I did not affend you in anyway because that is not my intention ,you do have a lovely game ,in process and I'd love at least to buy one copy for myself thats all, you young people need these opportunites,and the same I think for our up and coming young game makers ,as there are not alot of jobs around ,and you need to do the things you enjoy and are passionate about ,I'll say no more now ,just keep up the great work OK and never give up ,Thats all BYE.

Thanks for your words @abg, the issue of the main character being noticeable is already solved, we've blurred the backgrounds a little so the most important part of the game is the main zone. Also, all the characters "vibrate" due to their handmade animations, so they are easily noticeable.

You can't fight any enemie or animal, nor has this game horror elements. For each situation you have to use your imagination. Maybe some item would help you, maybe the light of the candle could come in handy...

Hi, I K.S 'd you guys top 120 somewhere ,and every time I look a your game I feel a sence of peace ,just wondering is it possible to high light your moving characters so they can stand out more ,to help vision imparied fan's see them better as they do blend in to the lovely background ,I love your Art work you Guys keep it happening ,also if the characters cant jump how are we gonna get pass the cute critters ,could there be maybe differant food pick ups to collect and give them ,to help give few seconds to pass maybe I don't know ,just a thought thats all,after all they must get hungry, well I think anyway. And I hate Horror it is not a pleasant thing for me ,so they are not my cup of tea. Your sweet young men keep working hard at your game and aim as high as you can ,sorry I could only afford the amount I pledged I hope it helps out in some way OK CHEER"S. I' want your game from steam though so hope they are taking notice.

Seeing as you are art enthusiasts and hand draw your artwork you could even make some awesome wallpapers eventually :D

-We want to release the game on January 2014. If the Kicksarter goes well, we may delay it 2 or 3 months in order to add more content.
-$15 release price. But with Humble Bundles and Steam Sales out there... who knows!!
-We are preparing an update on the story, we will post it on KS and here as well.
-We will certainly continue to support this artstyle, you can count on that. IN fact, our next game is already planned ;)
-We feel very comfortable with adventure/puzzle games, we definitely want to keep developing these kind of games. But we also want to explore another genres like Horror.
-We play all kind of games. Console ones, PC ones, Triple-A, indie... we love stealth, adventure and horror games. Now we are playing games like Dishonored, FEZ, Ni no Kuni or Closure.
-We have already received fanart :) we are going to post some of them this very week.

However, we are going to make some AMAs on Reddit, but we will keep this page update, no worries :)

I would like to know the following:
-When do you expect to release the game.
-The price of the game on release date.
-Any story information reguarding the world or level and whats going on with all these masked voodo dolls. (no spoilers obviously)
-If you made it onto the game dev scene would you continue to do handrawn artwork in all your games, (thats going to be very time consuming and hard work).
-Do you have any ideas and inspiration for future releases, are there any other genres you want to experiment with.
-On a daily basis what games do you lot play and enjoy.
-are you going to release fan art.
