We've gotten a few questions about how puzzle play factors into our pinball RPG. In short, we make use of flippers as a gating mechanism, often with multiple sets of flippers in a single scene, and in some scenes we remove all the flippers. No flippers?!? Yep. In these scenes, you'll have to use the game's nudge mechanic to move the ball once it hits any kickers.We added a screenshot from one of our puzzle levels, enjoy!

Enemies usually advance towards the flippers, take positions and attack by smashing the ball back and also by shooting the flippers. Flipper damage represents a form of hit-points and can be healed with the Healer character. Enemies have different hit zones -- the Rogue is better with rear attacks, whereas the Knight not only knocks enemies down from the rear but is a great tank-style character.
