The community has shown their interest in this game. Valve has reached out to this developer to start moving things toward release on Steam.

I have posted the first public demo of Rktcr at
This demo features a subset of the full game's challenge files as well as a single (small) world to complete. I estimate that it will take about an hour to finish, and far longer to perfect.

As part of updating the rktcr tutorial for the next release, I needed to draw a new font. This got me thinking about the font system in the game, which lead to a blog post[] about it.

This weekend, I'm sending Rktcr Beta4 to my testers. It features better burst graphics and sounds, more challenge levels, and cloverless worlds (among other things).

I've added a post to showing how the blueprint-themed challenge styles work in the (upcoming) release of Rktcr. It's certainly a more visually lush look than the boring lines of beta2 or the blocky shading of beta3.
