Blood of the Werewolf
September 11, 2013 - Scientifically Proven

"It's a retro platfomer, a tribute to the 1980s and early '90s era of exacting sideways scrollers. In a way, Blood of the Werewolf represents gaming today, the post-modern mish-mash of old and new, AAA and indie, serious and flippant."

"I fell in love at once when I got my hands on Blood of the Werewolf"

"Blood of the Werewolf is exactly what I want out of a retro-styled indie game with modern accoutrements."

June 21, 2013 - Scientifically Proven

After creating the popular IGN “Wii Shooter of the Year” Nominee Real Heroes: Firefighter, Scientifically Proven has returned with Blood of the Werewolf. You must play as a werewolf named Selena who is seeking vengeance for her murdered husband while trying to rescue her kidnapped child. All of this must be completed during the Grandmother Moon while her powers are strong. While exposed to moonlight you can battle in your werewolf form with devastating attacks that can defeat any enemy with ease. While in human form you must use your wits and your trusty crossbow to defeat enemies. This variation keeps the gameplay interesting while maintaining a challenge to it.

The combat of the game isn’t the only thing you must master. Players must be able to analyze an area fast and much of the game requires well timed jumps and agile movements to successfully survive the level. Overall, even in this demo form, the game was very fun, and it will only get better. Blood of the Werewolf is going to release “soon” for PC, PSN, and Wii U. Be sure to support Blood of the Werewolf on Greenlight. This game is well worth checking out if you have any interest in quality platformers.
