Tower of Guns
2013年6月25日 - blankslatejoe
This Saturday, June 29th, there's a Greenlight Games SUPERSHOW MARATHON on twitch, put together by those nice folks working on Legend of Dungeon. The basic idea: there's about 25 indie developers, all on Greenlight, and we each have a half hour slot to talk about our games. There's going to be prizes and give-aways and a few guest star big youtubers dropping in--should be a good time.
More Info: http://robotloveskitty.com/supershow/
Anyway, the show runs all day (13+hours) and Tower of Guns has the LAST slot, 11:30 PM. If you're interested in listening to me talk about ToG while some people live stream a session, then stop in!
This is the channel it'll be on: http://www.twitch.tv/robotloveskitty

I'm super excited to announce that Tower of Guns got accepted to be in the IndieCade E3 showcase.
That means if you're going to E3 you can play ToG at the show!
However, I'm still not sure if I'll even be able to make it the show to actually show off the game in person...and so I need your help:
In short, I need to get 190 pre-orders...within the next day or two...if I'm going to make it to the show. I'm off to a good start, but every pre-order matters. If you'd like to help, you can pre-order the game at www.towerofguns.com. Please pass this along to anyone you can, and thanks! Hope to see you at E3!
UPDATE: Thank you so much everyone! I was able to raise the funds and it looks like I'll be able to make it to E3 to show off my project! You guys are awesome :)

No...ToG's not on steam yet, but you can PRE-ORDER the game now if you're so inclined. It's only five bucks, which is a fraction of the price-at-launch (which hasn't been determined yet)...AND you'll gain access to the "Hard Hat" Development build (and future builds).
Assuming I get ToG on steam someday I will happily give Steam keys to Pre-orderers, of course.

I'll be at Pax East with ToG! Ok, that's old news. But here's some more info:
If you're NOT going to Pax East, and want to see me talk about Tower of Guns and other stuff, I'm speaking on a panel about 38 Studios and 'going indie' after that studios highly public implosion. And they're streaming it live!
The schedule for Pax's livestreaming streaming is up here:
PaxEast Livestreaming Schedule
Or, simply tune at to http://www.twitch.tv/pax at 4pm this Saturday (March 23)
You can find out more about the panel at http://www.bestpanelever.com/
If you're not going to Pax and have a QUESTION for the panel, feel free to post it in the comments. I'll collect them (if there are any) and see if the other panelists are up for answering any "on-air".
If you ARE going to PaxEast: I'll be floating around the show all three days:
- Friday: I'll be around the Indie MEGABOOTH on Friday, volunteering, so I'll probably try and sell you on whatever game/team I'm helping with at the time :) .
- Saturday: I'll be volunteering at the MEGABOOTH in the morning and I'll be at the aforementioned panel: "After the Endgame: Indie Studios formed from 38 Studios Alumni" in the afternoon. The panel is at 4pm in the Naga theater. Pax East panels fill up extremely quick (like....REALLY quick), so if you're interested in seeing the panel, asking some questions, or saying hi, then get in line *early*! I'll stick around for a few minutes after the panel to chat with fellow gamers if anyone's interested.
- Sunday: Tower of Guns will be PLAYABLE on the show floor, in the Indie MEGABOOTH's brand new "MINIBOOTH" (Booth#581) all day on Sunday. The playable Pax Demo is about about 10-15 minutes long, but filled with enough of the random elements that you could do at least a couple of runs and see new stuff every time. I'd love to get some off-cuff-impressions from you guys! So please, swing by!
Thanks so much for supporting ToG! I'm looking forward to meeting some fellow gamers!
