This week… we worked on birds. And we’ll talk about motivation.
The birds turned out mentally handicapped with the flying abilities of a magic rug, they literally just float around.
In other news, the office was running on 116.7% capacity and a couple of guys got the chance to try out sleeping on the office floor. Coughing dust and crumbs never felt so good!
The water treatment facilities
No, but really, we did work on bird AI, yet another thing that didn’t turn out to be just a walk in the park. The project as a whole is moving along, but with baby steps and it’s frustrating for everyone to uncover a huge mess behind what you originally thought would be a simple fix. Everyone would love to just get on with the game and start finalizing the chapters and levels we’ve already worked so hard on, but at this point we’ve learned to expect that nothing works as previously intended. Add to that the pressures of trying to finally stitch the Indiegogo campaign together, you've got a volatile and “heavy” work environment, under which most teams would crumble.
The Stalburg city from an angle
For months we’ve “seen” the light at the end of the tunnel, which has motivated us to give each week just a little bit more. Then there’s the peer pressure of others working hard, making you want to at least level them in terms of effort. You simply feel bad seeing your friend work 10 hour days without you.No one is slacking off, but in a way the definition of slacking has changed as we’ve moved on with the project, although doing your best should never be taken for granted.
Beware the wet ladder
Finally just the pure unrivaled passion the team has goes a long way, but we truly do feel that with projects like this it would be incredibly difficult to stay focused with only individual vision and motivation. Surprisingly often we find ourselves needing the team to know when we’ve done enough, not when we’ve done too little.
No great final words or puns for this one, just a couple of pictures :)

It’s strange how fast time flies when you’re working 7 days a week, a productive week for sure, but the whole team is exhausted. Working on the game in general, the new trailer and the Indiegogo campaign are really setting the tone for our efforts.
Some have been melting their faces over compiling issues, some have been constantly on the move while trying to work almost around the clock. Then there’s the one happy camper who got to try working in our office.
It’s been great seeing the team work and seeing the updates on the Steam version of the game. The detail these guys go into when working on each independent structure or puzzle is mind-boggling. Just a few days ago we had a debate over which drawbridge operation regulations or standards should our drawbridge follow. Not only is it difficult to actually find relevant information about drawbridge regulations, these guys had been at it for hours when the debate started.
The Retired Fisherman
To have that sort of commitment and passion to perfect every little intricate, and sometimes seemingly meaningless detail is admirable, borderline ridiculous, but it all adds up to the bigger picture. We should take pride in that.

A week of silence and here we go again with a weekly update, right on time as usual… Right guys?
Nothing like working inside for hours on end and seeing the summer come along, our wet noodle arms don’t need a break anyways. Last week we talked about our Indiegogo campaign coming along and us working from our own apartments. If we are on schedule with everything regarding the campaign, the campaign should begin in two to three weeks time.
Some of our team is settling in nicely to the new office, although we still do not have all of the necessary software. Some of us even managed to spend their spare time working on the game, while others…Well, played the hell out of GTA V…
With our batteries charged from the office, each other and from the mindless fun that is GTA, the coming week should be even more productive.
In this update we're going with industrialist theme:

What’s up guys, we are trying to stay true and faithful to our promise of keeping you guys updated, so here goes nothing.
We have started planning our Indiegogo campaign somewhat more thoroughly and we have got some pretty cool perks coming along. Before the campaign we’ll be releasing our new trailer and possibly some new gameplay. If there’s one phrase to sum up this past week from our developers point of view it’s been “I have no Idea why it’s not working, these errors don’t make any sense”. Nevertheless, we are making steady progress. Most of us are still working from our apartments, as we do not have the necessary software in our office yet. When we do get the software, things should be a little easier since we would have both a common space for our team to work in and simply faster PCs than what we are currently working with.
And again, some new screenshots :)
Neglected doing dishes for long enough, now I am saving in electricity bills. Hopefully it won't become sentient.

We have an office now! This is great in so many ways. It helps the team coordinate better, but also work more efficiently as we have some top notch hardware on the PC's here. And to enjoy the comfy couch to watch some 4K deliciousness from Netflix, of course.
No new media of INFRA, unfortunately. We will show something interesting soon though, so don't worry. Also sorry for the long silence (not unusual to us, eh?) but we have been very busy working and also setting up the office and everything related to it. From now we intend to update a lot more frequently as the intended release date of INFRA is only some four months away! We may have promised a lot of things regarding media releases in the past and not kept some of them but this will change now. During the past few months we have gained so much momentum that promises will be easier to keep.
Stay tuned for more.
