2013년 2월 28일 - Shiro Games

So, here is what we've been working on recently:

  • Adding a new game mode, leaning towards a 3D hack'n slash type gameplay (including lots of useless loot!).
  • Adding collectible cards and the mini game that goes with it.
  • Adding new usable items (bow and bomb) and tricky puzzles that can be solved with them.
  • And new musics, sound fx, UI tweaks and general polish.

In terms of pricing, we don't know yet as we have to talk to Valve about it first, but it will be in line with your usual Steam indie game.

And finally, the release date is still planned for March 2013. When in March is again up to our discussions with Valve as we would like to have a single release date on all platforms if possible (most likely second half of March).

We've been asked to show some of the concept art for the game so we've added some to the screenshot section (monster concepts, the card mini game, as well as a rendered screen of the village).

In other news, we've made it to the top 50 in Steam Greenlight! But we still need your help to make it the rest of the way. Tell your friends about Evoland!

First of all, thanks a lot for all the very encouraging comments, the whole team (all 4 of us) really appreciate your support!

We're planning to release the game early March and we're currently adding one last gameplay mode (not shown in the video) as well as some other smaller features (minigames, more interactive items, more secrets...). We'll see how much we can squeeze in!

Finally, due to popular demand, we've added Mac support as well as German and Japanese localization (we're looking into Linux as well, but it's unlikely we'll have time for it before release).
