Since the last official patch, the patch adds joystick support (windows only for now), reworks the UI a little, allows Lithosoid planets to increase the durability of components, rebalances things a bit better, hopefully fixes a Mac sound issue, and fixes a bunch of smaller things.

1.015 change list:

  • now stop controller rumble if paused
  • fixed controller rumble when turning off screen shake (Castruccio)
  • now reducing power load and increasing durability are toggles instead of one time things
  • decreased durability mult modifier per level from 0.0333 to 0.02
  • increased difficulty of higher difficulty levels

The rest fled known space. When the Drox turned on their own Operatives, the Drox were utterly destroyed. Newer races emerged and thrived in the power void, never knowing the menace waited. Seizing their chance, the Ancients are invading to take their rightful place in the galaxy, as rulers! Thirsting for revenge, the Ancients can't harm the extinct Drox, but they can crush the next best thing, the Drox Operatives.

Since the last official patch, the patch fixes some diplomacy loopholes, balances things better, and fixes a ton of smaller things.

Full change list:

  • now races remember 3rd party peace and war treaties for 20 minutes - can't get same treaty again during this time and they will get angry at you if you go against the agreement (Nelway)
  • races now pay Operatives less to declare war on someone
  • races that you are at war with will no longer sell you jump gate activations
  • now races will pay less for player to break treaties
  • now cancelling a treaty with a race permanent increases their natural hate for the cancelling race or Operative
  • fixed a potential crash in PlayerCovenantClient::tradeRequestExpired and PlayerCovenantClient::ignoreTradeOffer
  • ancients now drop better loot
  • doubled search for enemy prices
  • now print a message when a race is paid to declare war on another race
  • now can see systems that have allies on sector map even if you haven't been there
  • no longer get the benefit of being able to see systems with a quest from an enemy

Drox Operative: Invasion of the Ancients is scheduled to be released in the 3rd quarter of 2013, however it will be released when it's done. It will get on Steam as soon as we can talk Valve into it and/or get enough Greenlight votes. :)

Since the last official patch, the patch patch balances things better and fixes a bunch of smaller things.

Full change list:

  • overlord quests now give fear and legend points (Gilgamesh)
  • made jump gate/stash area a little safer from storms and asteroids
  • unlucky and poverty modes now give a 5% bonus to XP
  • changed one of Shadow's traits from Defensive to Stealth
  • now handle reduce power load failure better with components that have no durability (namad)
  • fixed some problems with Hellfire because it didn't have a max range (Tyrax Lightning)
  • added max range to Plasma Web and Radiation Pulse Weapon
  • delivering needed items now reduces fear points by 0.5 (not a lot but some)
  • 3rd party NPCs (like in rebellions) are now neutral parties that no one attacks (CaptainWinky)
