Since the last official patch, the patch adds Drox Guild quests (IotA), adds new race services: order planetary goods (Hive), call for recruits (Drakk), retraining (Cortex), buy bombs (Brunt), enhance components (Utopian), and spying (Shadow), balances the races to be more unique, and fixes a bunch of other minor issues.

It seems I've hit a size limit, so the following is truncated a little.

1.024 change list:

  • fixed Utopian enhanced sockets not working until save/resume (CaptainWinky) (IotA)
  • ceasefire now clears enemies and projectiles better (wrestless)
  • now normal happiness drop of crew is half as much as normal if the same race as you
  • Shadow's spy trait now affects espionage and sabotage
  • now Shadow has a resistance to being spied on
  • increased start alliance time by 25% (IotA)
  • increased Drox Guild quest xp rewards by 50% (IotA)
  • increased Drox Guild quest credits rewards by 100% (IotA)
  • increased ancient quest chances by another 50% (IotA)
  • tripled beam station firing times (Steve) (IotA)
  • fixed fighter base playing lots of spawn sounds when no new fighters emerged (Steve) (IotA)
  • fighters from monster fighter bases now attack the player correctly (Steve) (IotA)
  • now get warning if try to reduce power load on something that uses none
  • no longer use credits if can't reduce power load because uses none or already reduced as much as possible (Yindo)

  • increased asteroid chances by 50%
  • no longer have Drox bonus orders if playing with Drox involvement higher than minimal (IotA)

1.023 change list:
  • can now order planetary goods from Hive planets
  • can now call for recruits on Drakk planets (costly and still have to do a recruit quest though)
  • can now retrain your crew points at Cortex planets
  • can now buy bomb type of quests from the brunt (player gets to choose the victim race)
  • you can now pay Utopian planets to try to enhance your components with added sockets (IotA)
  • can now pay Shadow to do your spying for you (expensive, they are better at spying, they will get mad at you if they are caught)
  • increased Economist trait bonuses - starting credits 2.0 to 3.0, trading 1.5 to 2.0, and credits produced 1.5 to 2.0 - Human
  • colony ships now only cost expansion races 25% of normal cost - Human and Lithosoid
  • increased Dryad gift chances from 35/50 to 25/60
  • decreased Dryad RepairCostMult from 0.5 to 0.33
  • increased minerals produced by Industrial races from 2.0 to 3.0 - Utopian
  • increased Utopian ClearLevel quest chances from 0.025 to 0.05
  • increased Fringe chances to start attack quests from 0.001 to 0.003
  • increased Fringe propaganda and sabotage chances from 7.0 to 10.0
  • increased Productive trait bonuses - minerals 1.5 to 2.0 and food 1.5 to 2.0 - Hive
  • increased Natural Flyers bonuses - attack 0.2 to 0.3, defense 0.3 to 0.4, and added 0.4 movement bonus - Drakk
  • increased Hardy max population bonus from 1.5 to 2.0 - Lithosoid
  • increased Brilliant tech bonus from 2.0 to 3.0 - Cortex
  • increased Spies trait spy try chance from 2.0 to 2.5 - Shadow
  • increased Shadow chances to start trick attack quests from 0.001 to 0.003

Since the last official patch, the patch adds reinforcement, defection, and anti-leader events (IotA), hopefully fixes the Shadow cheating issue, and fixes a bunch of other minor issues.

1.020 change list:

  • fixed Shadow getting credits/minerals for lost ships more than once
  • fixed an infinite loop if a help gets too large for screen and has no specified size (Laivasse)
  • increased ancient behind bonus from 1.5 to 2.5
  • changed it so game doesn't run before the player gets into the game
  • decreased Shadow minerals/credit penalty from 0.5 to 0.9
  • went back to lower quality components can have modifiers (causing problems with scavenger stuff) (Tuidjy)
