We are pleased to announce that our new demo is now available!


While there is no new content, you'll now be able to enjoy widescreen, gorgeous new pixel art, and gameplay tweaks that make your special abilities less tedious and more fun.

Lilac's energy meter now rapidly regenerates on its own - no running necessary! This means that her Dragon Boost and Dragon Cyclone abilities are now an integral part of her moveset. Carol's bike gets an upgrade too; Not only is it more durable, but she can use her Wild Kick while still riding it as well as a Nitro Boost and double-jump to make up for the extra weight.

We are also happy to announce that Mac users will soon be able to play as well; Sometime over the next few days we'll have our first Mac demo ready! Once we do, we'll need your help making sure that everything translates okay onto the new OS.

And while I still remember, I really like that Lilac sticks to the surface when performing a grounded Boost, but I would like it more if you could still shoot upwards (or downwards if you're up-side down) when pressing and holding that key. I've had moments where the falling logs or the moving platforms would align with Lilac as I prepare to Boost upwards and instead send me right off into a wall. Just a minor gripe, but I figured I'd mention it.

Indeed. It was very strange to have that removed after getting acquainted with it and how it worked for speeding things up if you aim your landing just right on a slope, and as you said it makes sense for her to have that ability because of what you're describing. I'll certainly miss it for Carol, but it's nice to have at least for Lilac.

Although on the other hand I am really enjoying the grounded Cyclone attack as well now that I've had some time to play with it, so I am really torn on how you'd go about keeping them both in haha! Maybe if you could activate Cyclone by pressing jump while holding down the duck key or something along those lines that'd be a nice set-up so that we can have the best of both worlds.

I'm actually wondering if rolling should be a move exclusive to Lilac. At least with her, it looks more like she's forming a wheel with her hair than curling into a sphere like Sonic.

The buffed motorcycle and Lilac's recharging special meter should be able to make up for the amazing blast-offs that the spin provided previously. I actually have to eat my words from earlier, as I managed a 03:27:84 run shortly after I posted that I thought I'd never be able to beat my previous time... That's with Lilac mind you, so I can't really speak for Carol but with her new-and-improved motorcycle you should be able to pull off some good times with it.

I miss the spin. Otherwise it's still good but feels slower. Also: what's with the default control scheme having start on the Y button and using the stick over the D-Pad? I had to remap it. Control sticks and 2D games do not go well together, at least in my experience. I always use the D-Pad.
