It has been an exciting first week for Dungeonmans! Thanks to those of you out there spreading the word, there's been a flurry of activity and interest, making the Greenlight kickoff all the more thrilling. It has been a pleasure to read your comments, both critique and praise, as they all help the game evolve in the right direction.
I plan on keeping both the website and the Greenlight page updated with new developments, but those might be a little sparse until after the holidays. Hopefully all of you are enjoying this time of year. The holidays are magical; one of the few occasions when you can score piles of loot without having to set foot in a dungeon. A time to relax, destroy piles of meat, and let those HP and Stamina bars tick back up. For some of us, it is a time to indulge in the Steam Sale and be really, truly bad at Endless Space.
The first big task I'll be tackling in the month ahead is a fine tuning and expansion of the perks and abilities systems. Dungeonmans combat relies on quick movement, sweeping attacks, status effects and a variety of other mechanics, and the development challenge lies in hardening the system to allow both players and monsters to mix and match them as they see fit.
Is there anything in particular you'd like to hear about in an upcoming update? Let me know in the comments! Until then, have a great holiday and thank you again for your support of Dungeonmans.
