I've got Black Annex running at 60fps (and it's absolutely beautiful) on every desktop machine I own now, and I've got it performing much better on all the test laptops I have in the studio. I'm adding frame-skipping and a lot of new performance tweaks to the game and I'm going to abandon the notion that the game needs a multicore CPU now.

I'm not committing to any definite specs now, because I don't want to make promises I can't keep, but things are a LOT better now. I want as many people as possible to be able to enjoy Black Annex so I'm putting all the work I can in to making it perform its best.

The response to Black Annex over the past fortnight since the release of the first trailer has been absolutely amazing. I didn't expect anything like this and you've all been so incredible in your support for this game!

I'm doing my best to live up to the expectations I've set so far, and I'll be releasing some more media soon. I'd love to drop another trailer soon with some real gameplay-flow demonstrated so you can get a much better idea of how a mission prep and deployment plays-out in the game.

In the meantime, thank you all so much for your help in making this the best thing it can be! Here's a screenshot I just took while testing some stuff.

Black Annex comes with all the tools needed to not just create your own missions and implement them into the existing campaign, but you can create entire new campaigns from scratch with totally new hub areas and NPCs.

With Steam, we'll be able to use the Workshop to share content for Black Annex! This could be amazing! Thank you all for so much support so far!
