What's up in Zigfrak land?

Just a quick update on our Steam progress -- we're preparing the storefront, and working on a first pass at Steamworks integration. Significantly, Zigfrak's save system is being re-tooled to play nicely with Steam Cloud. We're tentatively shooting for a launch in December, and will keep you posted.

If there are any Steamworks features that you would like to see supported by Zigfrak, please chime in!

News regarding keys will be made available when the release is looking more concrete.

So, cloud support didn't make it in this time around, but we're still pursuing this for a future release.

They maybe do not serve no practical purpose but they do boost sales alot. I know many Steam users who would not even touch a game without achivements by slating some stupid reason

Cloud saves are more than enough, but I highly recommend you add achievments and Steam Trading Cards.

They boost sales. A lot. And we want you to swim in cash and have a reason to expand this game for a lifetime ;)

Meaningful achievements can be fun :-)

Achievements (and, to a degree, trading cards) drive sales, though, so it certainly wouldn't hurt to have them. And if implemented well, they can be fun (no "you started the game, here's an achievement for that" crap, obviously).

Achievements servers no practice purpose, so hopefully none of that nonsense.

thanks for the news, I personnaly cant wait, it'd be nice having achievements and steam cloud support but if you cant no biggie from me
