Primordia
Halfway to the top 100!
14. November 2012 - Wadjet Eye Games

I just checked out the stats. After just 24 hours on Greenlight, we are exactly 50% of the way to being in the top 100! To mark the occasion, I've decided to try the "Announcement" button and, well, announce it.

And while I'm on the soapbox, I might as well answer a common question. Many of you are asking why we're going through Greenlight, instead of just submitting to Steam directly. We did submit it to them directly, but even though we have seven games on Steam already, they requested we put the game on Greenlight. As to why, I am not privy to Valve's decision-making process, and their policy is that they never give their reasons, so I am just as mystified as you are. In any case, the responses from all of you have been overwhelmingly positive, so I am confident that we'll prove ourselves to Valve (again!) sooner than later. So thank you, all of you.

I'm pretty sure Valve only asked you guys to submit this game to Greenlight in order to lure in other quality developers as well as somehow legitimize this whole process.

This one looks even more interesting. I love robots and wondering about what they might do if they had independent thought.

I want to live in a brave new world where Call o' Doodie is rejected from Steam via Greenlight and games like Primordia are welcomed with open arms.

Is it too late to add the Source engine to the game? Everybody knows that's the easiest way to get Valve's approval!

Apparently all developers and publishers need to go through Greenlight now. It'd be funny to see CoD:MW4 up here, imagine if it got rejected by the community? The new rule may not apply to AAA developers though.

Valve's decision is really weird tbh... you guys have proven yourselves time and time again... Time to do it one more time, but I'm sure that it'll be easy because WE believe in you!
