"After taking a dive into Substance Designer 3, by Allegorithmic, I will never use just a photo editor again."

"Substance Designer can make the development 2D or 3D applications easier and faster."

"I highly recommend the use of this program."

Jus a few quotes from this great
Substance Designer review on Indie Game Mag...

February 15, 2013 - Allegorithmic

Substance Engine is now integrated and distributed by default in Unreal Technology's UE3 and UDK.

Thanks to this integration, every substance (including filters like Bitmap2Material!) created using Substance Designer can be imported in UDK and UE3 like any other asset. The resulting materials can then be tweaked in editor or at run time, like NO other asset in the industry...

What this integration means to game developers is that you don't have to pay for being allowed to release a game utilizing substances: this is all taken care of by our friends at Epic and by us. Just get the required licenses of Substance Designer and B2M (special offer to be announced tomorrow ;) ) and you're good to go if you use UE3/UDK! We also offer free content with this integration: see by yourselves!

The Texturing Pros' Tool of choice has never been so easy to use!

We took into account our community's feedback and worked hard on making the tool easier to grasp, and in particular this version 3.2 introduces an advanced Library View, allowing to instantly find the filters, effects and content you need in a split second, and to organize your custom searches and favorites.
