Sorry, my goof up: Cpt Lonely Gale. In Windhelm. not in the pack. Could he be added? No quest or other; just hangs out in the Inn and wanders about. This widower needs a new family to care for.
Thx for the mod; needed.
Tulip da RingTailed Lemur Feb 2 @ 4:05pm
I hope Cpt Lonely Heart is in this bunch.

I'm glad I could help =3
Altbert  [author] Jul 6, 2014 @ 4:37pm
My fault! I forgot to change the voice type back to Khajiit. Strange that nobody else has noticed this, since the mod was last updated in February 2013! I have some problems uploading an update as the mod seems to be over 100 MB now, although the mod should be smaller now. Something to figure out!
Altbert  [author] Jul 6, 2014 @ 3:49pm
Thanks, Lerex! I will have a look at it. I will let you know.
Lerex [Ger] Jul 6, 2014 @ 6:17am
Can't edit my comment.. Okay heres the new one.

With "Marriageable Khajiit Males" it's as you said in your bookmod or on your homepage. Original Khajiit Males have the Khajiit Voice. Your Custom guys got the Argonian.
I can say that now, because Nocturnal had mercy with me, gave me some luck and I just found Jo'Rakha in the Inn of.... Dawnstar? (I'm playing the game in german, so I don't know the exact names of the english version).

So I think, there are some rests of your old code or something like that in the complete pack/bundle of your Male-Marriage Mods. And maybe you should have a look at the females....
Lerex [Ger] Jul 6, 2014 @ 5:55am
Today I tried something out. I uninstalled "Marriage BooK" and "Marriageable Male NPCs" and went to the caravan again. The Voice of the 2 Male Khajiit went back to thier normal Khajiit Voice. After that I reinstalled "Marriageable Male NPCs"... Started Game again. And they got the Argonian Voice again.
I think, there might be some rests of your first try to make the Khajiit Marriageable left in the code..... I will look what will happen when I install your "Only Khajiit" version of this Mod...
Lerex [Ger] Jul 4, 2014 @ 2:07pm
The Marriage Book - Your mod
Marriageable Male NPCs - Your mod
Beast Kids - Changes some of the City-Kids appereance to Khajiit or Argonian
Adopt Beast Kids - Changes 3 of the Rift-orphanage-Kids appereance to Khajiit or Argonian
Dar'Hausin, Khajiit Follower - As it says itself, but not marriable
Detailed Mine Map Markers - just shows me what ore is inside a mine
SkyUI - just Interface
INIGO - Inigo the brave, Khajiit Follower, not marriable

In my loadorder there is first HearthFire DLC, then Marriagable Male NPCs, then the Kid-Mods, then the rest. Only have HearthFire DLC, hadn't enough money until yet to buy the other 2.
Altbert  [author] Jul 4, 2014 @ 12:00pm
Yes, there should be 6 custom Khajiits: Dro'Ba, Jo'Rakha, Qanaro, S'Baad, Shavir and Wadarg. They are the only ones with the Argonian voice type. I didn't change any of the vanilla Khajiits that are travelling around in the caravans. Have you subscribed to or installed any other Khajiit mods? If so, tell me what Khajiit mods you are using, and I will look into your problem. I am not aware of any bugs other than the bugs with the tails of the Khajiit.
Lerex [Ger] Jul 4, 2014 @ 10:05am
Okay, now I'm confused. I found 2 marriable Khajiit with Argonian voice, as said in the informations, but you said there are only 6 custom Khajiit... Now I met the two male Khajiit from Ahkari's caravan... those are not 2 from your 6 customs, but are with the voice of Argonian and marriable. And the one of them give you a quest and the voice of the quest-text was missing. So I think there are some bugs?

Sorry if I'm a little hard to understand. I'm german and my marks in english are not the best ^^'
Altbert  [author] Jul 4, 2014 @ 1:09am
@Lerex: OK, you may find the Khajiit males in inns/taverns in the weekend and travelling between major cities during the week.
Lerex [Ger] Jul 3, 2014 @ 10:26am
@Altbert: now I allready found some of the guys, but came to the decision that I want to marry a Khajiit, because I'm playing as a female Khajiit. And those guys are very hard to find .... But I'm glad, that I don#t have to start a new game. Will try to look harder for the Khajiit in the future...
Altbert  [author] Jul 3, 2014 @ 9:03am
@walshj99: You're right, the Khajiit in the mod do talk like Argonians. There was no other way to make them marriable, because the Khajiit voice type has no marriage conversation. I did not mess around with the vanilla Khajiit, so they should still have their original voice and behaviour!
I have some suggestions: could there be another mod interfering, or is the bsa-file missing?

@Lerex: Can't find any of the over 340 marriable males? You don't have to start a new game, but this may mean that some males may already have been killed, but not all! Maybe have a look at my website (elder-scrolls.nl) and UESP (uesp.net) to find names and locations.
Lerex [Ger] Jul 2, 2014 @ 3:08pm
Hello.
I have a little problem. I cant find any of those males from your mod.... Do I have to start a new game to meet them? Would be not nice, because I like my current game and dont want to start from the beginning again...
walshj99 Jun 18, 2014 @ 9:27pm
Hello! I just subscribed for this and the females mod today, and I've noticed that the khajiit males no longer talk. I get their body language, and the subtitles are fine, but if they do talk, it's Argonian. Unique dialogue (like J'Zargo) is gone. Any suggestions?
Altbert  [author] Mar 14, 2014 @ 1:47pm
Hi Shadow: You have chosen two very difficult Thalmor there! Both are related to quests and you have to meet their objectives. In case of Estormo, that's quite impossible, because he stays hostile to the player, and you have to beat Ancano in the end. Because of this I could easily have left them out of the mod, but that would be no fun. Just as in real life, you can be turned down! As far as I know you can't force dialogue through console commands.
Shadow Mar 14, 2014 @ 9:30am
Hey Altbert,

First thing: Great job, u r doing. Second : Can u help me pls? I can't marry Ondolemar or Estormo :'( I've spoken over 20 times to Ondolemar, but he doesn't show any reaction to the amulet of mara. I've found DIAL: DialogueMarkathOndolemarAccept (00064774) 'I'm interested. What is it?'. Can I force this dialogue via console commands? Estormo doesn't show any dialogue option after the normal dialogue in Labyrinthion. He stays in combat position, but doesn't attack and he stays at Labyrinthion. Oh and sry for my bad english skills.

Shadow

Thanks!
fictionallyRealistic Feb 18, 2014 @ 4:59pm
@Altbert mkay, I'll try finishing his quests. Your mods are awesome by the way!
Altbert  [author] Feb 18, 2014 @ 1:50pm
I'm sorry, but I can't help you with this. Ondolemar is marriageable, but wether you can marry him or not depends on Skyrim's Radiant AI System. Is an NPC a questgiver, then meet all his objectives. After that, try again ... and again ...
fictionallyRealistic Feb 18, 2014 @ 1:39pm
Help? Please...
fictionallyRealistic Feb 17, 2014 @ 6:42pm
Ondolemar isn't marrying me D:
Altbert  [author] Jan 5, 2014 @ 1:18am
This one males only! Check out my other mods for the females.
Darkash Jan 4, 2014 @ 6:06pm
dose this have female people to marry too?
Rumil Jan 1, 2014 @ 6:13pm
XD I've always had this major crush on Jarl Korir..but now that I can marry him, it feels weird to marry someone who's already married..I guess the fact that i couldnt have him is what attracted me to him in the first place.
Or die tryin' Sep 1, 2013 @ 12:18am
It's most likely a bug in the DLC I realize, since I built another one of the homesteads and made it exactly like I did Lakeview, and I could move both my spouse and kid into it. However, they always spawn on the patio and the child walks all the way back to the orphanage and my spouse walks back to his old home. So, I just said flip it and moved them into Honeyside instead, and it works great :) Sucks that Hearthfire is so goddamn buggy. It's a nice idea for a DLC, but it's worth nothing if it don't work half the time :/
Altbert  [author] Aug 31, 2013 @ 2:40pm
It could also be something else. Did you hire a steward, bard and/or carriage driver before marrying him. I don't know if this is a bug in the DLC, but maybe the Unofficial Hearthfire Patch may be a solution. I had the same problem in all HF houses.
Or die tryin' Aug 31, 2013 @ 3:53am
I married Ungrien but I can't have him move into lakeview manor. I have two double beds and almost all the furniture, so I don't see why he wont just get his ass over there...is it because he works at the black-briar meadery and originally isn't a potential spouse?
Altbert  [author] Jul 31, 2013 @ 10:39am
OK! Still seems to be some flow in the game.
Monika Jul 30, 2013 @ 6:45pm
I found the solution! Resurrecting her dead body with the resurrection command immediately brought her back to life, good as new, so she didn't pop back up again and ruin the 'special moment'. Thank you very much for the help!
Altbert  [author] Jul 30, 2013 @ 3:41pm
There might be a solution to this problem, but I haven't found it (yet). I have got the same problem with Danica Pure-Spring turning up dead in the temple near the entrance (also naked). I still haven't figured out if the problem is caused by vanilla Skyrim or some of the marriage mods I have tested. I am thinking of non-essential NPCs, randomly selected for the marriage ceremony, killed during their travel to Riften and then turn up dead. Try making Taarie essential before travelling to Riften with the following console command: setessential 132AB 1. To undo this enter: setessential 132AB 0
Monika Jul 30, 2013 @ 1:02pm
I've been trying to marry Rune for some time now, and each time Taarie's naked dead body shows up near the door of the basement, and he leaves in digust. I've tried to hide the body in many places, and even with it hidden, they are all still disgusted and the marriage ceremony fails. Is there any way to fix this? Great mod, nevertheless. Thank you.
Altbert  [author] Jun 4, 2013 @ 7:37am
@Shiro: I don't know either, but it could be Skyrim's Radiant AI System randomly not initiating marriage conversation. My only suggestion would be to wait for a while, maybe recruit him as follower, dismiss him and try again.
Shiro Jun 3, 2013 @ 10:49pm
Love this mod, one problem. I know it works on others but I cannot for the life of me initiate the convo with erandur. I've done his quest, so i really don't know why. Any suggestions?
Altbert  [author] May 29, 2013 @ 5:40am
@Nia: You were right all along! I did not remove all jarls or those who would become jarl. You ment Siddgeir, while I was referring to Dengeir.
-=~Rumiko the Fox~=- May 28, 2013 @ 7:05pm
Well I'm not sure what the issue is, because the moment I removed your mod, the Jarl worked fine.
necromancery1 May 28, 2013 @ 1:31pm
I already commented on the Marriage Book workshop thread and now it sort of occurs to me that might not have been the right place for it: why not Balgruuf the Greater? I know he's a Jarl but he doesn't have a special voice type - it's Jon Battle-Born and Vilkas! - since you can marry Vilkas and it says that one of the Nord NPCs in your mod is Jon Battle-Born, why not poor Balgruuf?
Altbert  [author] May 28, 2013 @ 12:50am
@Nia: this should have nothing to do with this mod, as the Jarls are not in the mod because of their unique voicetype. Check out http://www.uesp.net for possible issues.
-=~Rumiko the Fox~=- May 27, 2013 @ 8:27pm
I'd have to go through the same path again to get all the issues I came across, but one was that the Jarl of Falkreath wouldn't give me the radiant quest to kill those bandits for him that usually opens up the ability to do town favors for the Thane title. He just spoke to me with dialogue as if I'd already done the bandit quest for him.
Altbert  [author] May 26, 2013 @ 2:00pm
@duke: that should be the case, as I have restored all Khajiits to their original. Only the ones that I newly created should have Argonian voices. Vanilla Khajiits with Argonian voices would probably not speak at all, but just moving their mouths. So, I don't know what's happening in your game, maybe check to see if you have the Febr. 2 revision. Otherwise you can download it from my website: http:www.elder-scrolls.nl

Maybe it has something to do with the .bsa file. When uploading a new rev. the .bsa file is not always updates. This seems to be a known Steam issue, specially with mods including scripts.
duke snookems May 26, 2013 @ 1:26pm
J'zargo can't speak which bugs some collage of winterhold quests, and why are unmarrigable Khajiits speaking with argonian voices, I thought only the ones you added to marry would have those voices?
Altbert  [author] May 24, 2013 @ 2:38pm
@Hanamura: Details are appreciated!
-=~Rumiko the Fox~=- May 23, 2013 @ 1:01pm
Eh, I was just stating an opinion on it. I liked the idea of the mod but overall had to unsub it so I could actually get some quests done that I was locked out of with this mod enabled.
Altbert  [author] May 23, 2013 @ 9:53am
That's the game. I could make them all devorced. But hey, you can marry any way you want in Skyrim, every race, every sex, so why not one that's married!
-=~Rumiko the Fox~=- May 18, 2013 @ 9:30pm
Very nice mod. Gives a lot more choices. The only issue I have is a lot of the NPCs who have quests you can do for them are friendly before you even get a chance to do the quests and sort of sequence break the "courtship" as it were. I also feel weird having people like Arnbjorn able to be married when they are already married in-game to someone else (i.e. Arnbjorn is married to Astrid).
Altbert  [author] May 18, 2013 @ 11:42am
You can only use this mod with the female versions. All male versions are merged into this mod.
duke snookems May 17, 2013 @ 2:47pm
Does this conflict with your other marriage mods?
Altbert  [author] May 10, 2013 @ 8:39am
Have you talked to the priest in the Temple of Mara in Riften? Have you bought/found an Amulet of Mara? Are you wearing the amulet? Have you completed all possible quests for those NPCs? Otherwise the marriage conversation will not start. Also, Skyrim's Radiant AI system may prevent the marriage conversation. More details are in my other mod, "The Marriage Book".
Vampire Queen May 10, 2013 @ 8:15am
For some reason I can't get this to work I've spoken to everyone who you've listed but nothing comes up for me to marry them. help please
Altbert  [author] Apr 22, 2013 @ 2:19pm
Probably some quest you have to fullfill!
