lol realy like those khajiit huh
Altbert  [author] Mar 8 @ 2:52am
@mysoupisyetagaincold: the dark faces are caused by a missing or misplaced BSA file. The mod consists of two files with the same name but different extensions: one BSA and one ESP file. The BSA file can be extracted from the file on my website:
mysoupisyetagaincold Mar 7 @ 5:22pm
i know they wont see it, but i encountered the same problem as Mechatom but with several other NPCs including both Markarth and Solitude potion shop owners, Ysolda upon delivering the tusk, and various others. also, a lot of the created NPCs do look hideous and out of place having dark skin faces and light skin bodies. Also, elven women faces with nord women bodies.
Altbert  [author] Feb 7 @ 12:51pm
Yes, all races including Khajiit and Bretons that couldn't be married in the vanilla game.
Mr.Cheese Feb 6 @ 9:39am
so are they of all race like orc or argonian?
WoodenArrow Jan 23 @ 6:10pm
so this mod puts in marriagable people that were made up? meh i can live by that cool mod though :)
Fireclawiswoot Jan 22 @ 3:15am
Nevermind, I figured it out =O
Altbert  [author] Jan 22 @ 12:54am
The mod should download and install automatically when you subscribe! Look for 'marriageablefemalenpcs.esp' in the Data folder. If the plugin has not been installed, you can always download it from my website (see Info in the description above). Unzip the contents to the Data folder.
Fireclawiswoot Jan 21 @ 4:42pm
This mod never downloaded for me? I subscribed. but it never downloaded to my skyrim and it's not in my NMM plugins like my other mods.
Altbert  [author] Jan 13 @ 8:03am
I don't know what happened to Saadia, as I never have turned her in to the Alik'r. Virani is a custom made NPC, so it looks if the accompanying BSA file has not been installed in the Data folder. Virani is an Altmer and her looks are defined in the BSA file.
Mechatom Jan 13 @ 1:46am
Saadia's voice stopped playing when I installed this mod and that lead to the quest In My Time of Need breaking when I tried leading her to the stable. She would follow, but Kematu and her would just stand around staring at eachother for infinity. The bug was resolved by deactivating this mod. Also, Virani in Honeyside is absolutely hideous for some reason. Elf head, human body, and weird scary ghost-like voice.
Altbert  [author] Dec 19, 2013 @ 11:58am
All details are available in my mod "The Marriage Book" and on my website:
Yourpharaoh Dec 19, 2013 @ 11:27am
Suggestion: List all Marriageable Characters and their Race,if possible...
Altbert  [author] Nov 6, 2013 @ 2:12am
Yes, this one contains all female marriage mods, but also some more females: 11 Redguards, 4 Altmer and 6 Khajiit. These 21 females are not in the separate mods!
Taleonas Nov 5, 2013 @ 4:15pm
So is this all your female marrage mods in one or is this just some and you get more if you have all the other mods?
PreyyNation Oct 27, 2013 @ 7:51pm
Can you make Angi Marriagable? She lives at the top of a mountain near helgen.
SeekerSK Aug 25, 2013 @ 9:46pm
I own Honeyside now. No change in Virani.

After thinking about it a bit, I guess there probably are a few more mods I have going. Nothing that I think affects Riften or the rest of the world though. I'm also running Hearthfire, but not Dawnguard or Dragonborn.
SeekerSK Aug 25, 2013 @ 7:28pm
I was also able to enter Honeyside without owning it. I didn't break in though. I just walked in. I noticed today that the bed is considered owned and I can sleep in it. I haven't completed the Jarl's Skooma quest yet so it hasn't even been offered to me. I did get stuck in Maul's conversation though.

With the exception of this, a fishing mod, and an archery mod, the only mods i have installed are weapon/armor mods and graphic enhancers. None of the city enhancing ones though. I'm not sure what would be affecting Riften.

I'll keep posting if I find any other oddities/notes about the situation and maybe we can pinpoint the issue. Im off to kill the Skooma dealers in Cragslane Cavern and get the house and see what happens then.
Altbert  [author] Aug 25, 2013 @ 9:18am
I have visited Virani in Honeyside and she just looks and sounds the way as I intended. But ... I also heard the weird voice. Just only once! I have entered Honeyside several times, but the voice didn't return. I play the game for the third or fourth time now, each game with a different approach, and this time something else did happen. In this game I haven't bought Honeyside, so I had to break in, but before that I was addressed by Maul. However, I could walk past him without hearing out his chat, while normally you have to hear him out. Also, I could walk away from Brynjolf when he was trying to get me into his little scheme. I have checked all my active mods, but non of them involve Riften, except the mod with Virani. I will continue the game as is and buy Honeyside and see what happens then.
SeekerSK Aug 25, 2013 @ 9:10am
Thanks for the reply. Maybe I'll poke into it eventually but it really isnt that important to me. Her dark elf head is a bit annoying, but the voices are kinda funny. It's like she's telepathically in my head insulting me. :)
Altbert  [author] Aug 25, 2013 @ 8:03am
Virani is actually a High Elf, but I created her with a more human skin. She should have an even toned female voice. I don't know where the weird voices come from, I just created the woman and made her marriageable, that's all. So I'm thinking of a bug or a mod conflict or maybe the accompanying BSA-file is missing. Check the data folder if the marriageablefemalenpcs.bsa file is present. If it's not, it could be in the Skyrim folder. Otherwise get the archive from my website, extract the BSA file and store it in the data folder.
SeekerSK Aug 25, 2013 @ 12:40am
Oh I forgot... if i actually talk to her, she talks normally but doesnt have dialogue options. Im assuming this is because i havent done the initial marriage quest the lizard gave me. It's just when im standing around her, an otherworldy voice keeps trying to get my attention by calling me names.
SeekerSK Aug 25, 2013 @ 12:38am
Not sure if this is a bug or intended, but Virani speaks to me with a wierd otherworldly voice and calls me names and has a dunmer head on her non dunmer body. Otherwise, she looks like she does in the screenshot. It's freaky. I haven't married her yet (or anyone in the game yet.) Nor do I own Honeyside which is where i find her. Don't know if that matters.

It's not a big deal... and im guessing the voice thing is intended. But is the random dunmer head that doesnt fit her body supposed to happen? In the screenshot she looks Nord.
Altbert  [author] Aug 1, 2013 @ 10:35am
It should work with any Helgen mod, since my mods don't change anything in Helgen or surrounding area.
shane1395 Aug 1, 2013 @ 8:04am
one more thing, do you think this mod would conflict with teg return to helgan, or do you think it would work ok with it?
Altbert  [author] Aug 1, 2013 @ 4:01am
You only have to subscribe and the mod will automatically download and install. You may also want to subscribe to The Marriage Book mod. It has all the details about Skyrim's marriage system and the changes by my marriage mods.
shane1395 Jul 31, 2013 @ 8:16pm
I have all the Dlc,and i'm new at downloding mods. Do I only need to subscribe and it downloads, also, when It dowloads am i ble to do the marriage ceremony and move from house to house, adopt kids, ad do they still talk how they should when maried and do they start a shop???
chadbauch Jul 14, 2013 @ 7:03pm
Ok, thank you for your help.
Altbert  [author] Jul 14, 2013 @ 7:01pm
The book in my other mod (see above) has all the details about the marriage system!
chadbauch Jul 14, 2013 @ 4:27pm
I can't seem to be able to figure out how to get married. I have vanilla skyrim and feel dumb asking, "How do I get married?" Will someone help me please?
Altbert  [author] May 4, 2013 @ 10:59am
Sorry, but I can't. This seems to be some Hearthfire thing. Did you hire a stuart, bard and/or carriagedriver before asking your wife to move to Lakeview? Then they may have slept in your (wife's) bed or beds of the children. If so, wife and children don't want to move to Lakeview!
Matt The Headcrab May 4, 2013 @ 10:27am
Hey uhmm my wife wont go to my dlc home: lakeview manor. Can you fix this or if you can, make another one of this mod, but include your wife to go to your hearthfire home
DaniFisaco Apr 29, 2013 @ 11:04pm
yeah i did an experiment...i uninstalled the rest except for this then i realized i couldn get the marriage option for Grelka...So i reinstalled the Marriable Female Nord Option and it was fixed...
Altbert  [author] Apr 29, 2013 @ 4:10pm
This mod covers all female NPCs from all the seperate mods (and some more). So, there's no need to subscribe to the rest.
DaniFisaco Apr 29, 2013 @ 5:42am
If i subscribe to this should i subscribe to the rest too?I mean ur other marriage mods or does this cover everything?
Mayingan Apr 11, 2013 @ 11:09pm
I really married a vampire... She empauverishes my blood, sucks my accounts and scare the shit out of me on her PMS days... I am a survivor of intense love. :P :) ;)
christos170 Apr 3, 2013 @ 9:32am
It worked. Thanks.
Altbert  [author] Apr 3, 2013 @ 6:40am
Something went wrong posting the link, it shows some extra character at the end of the addressline (%29.). Here is the link again:
christos170 Apr 3, 2013 @ 5:38am
The internet blocked the link and brought some error code out. I refreshed and nothing happened.
Altbert  [author] Apr 3, 2013 @ 1:14am
Have a look at my website ( There you will find all the names of the 220 marriageable female NPCs.
christos170 Apr 2, 2013 @ 10:17pm
Could you perhaps tell me who is marriagable? I cannot download without knowing what I am downloading.
Böss Mar 9, 2013 @ 4:36pm
i can finnaly ask my true love to marry me
Mayingan Jan 26, 2013 @ 5:17am
Good mod! Makes the Skyrim life less depressing.
Nocturnal Voices Jan 12, 2013 @ 10:46am
I have noticed that with this mod installed, people like Saadia or Faleen who have quests associated with them glitch up. They have no voice and thus don't speak and don't further their quests unless you bump into them twenty times and even then it won't fix it. Shame, I liked this mod.
DerpFox Jan 10, 2013 @ 9:47am
I never noticed she had a unique voice type! Ah well. Good work with the others anyway! :D
Altbert  [author] Jan 10, 2013 @ 8:35am
Rikke has a unique voice type that does not include marriage conversation.
DerpFox Jan 9, 2013 @ 6:02pm
Legate Rikke does not seem to be included...A shame. Is it because she's a storyline npc?
Altbert  [author] Jan 6, 2013 @ 1:54am
You have to meet all objectives of any NPC in order to marry this NPC, but it still stays questionable if marriage is possible because of Skyrim's Radiant AI System.
