Okay, I was wondering when to expect this correction, speaking of which, I finally achieved the original ideas in 'The Rube'; Switch traps, multi room shared traps with intricate switching, and improved mazeology, originally discarded due to publishing errors. The washing machine is still intact.

- the long delayed restoration now published in workshop. If you've played 'the Rube', I think you will see why it needed attention, it plays much differently now.

marshalldonnelly is still in my favorites collection. Once I complete this, I will be able to add this chamber as well ( it disappeared as he began re-editing it )

updated an exploit that I found thanks to stevetheslayer feedback. Now updated to remove exploit, with other small tweaks.

ok, sorry, I guess you did it the harder way. Try loading all the cubes, then gelling all the cubes, then hitting the button.

So you're saying I did it correctly?
If that's the case, then I don't care about it being easy, as some people will have more trouble with it then others. However, I recomend makeing the chamber somewhat smaller, and removing the unnecessary elements, like the lightbridge for instance. When you add stuff like that, some people assume that it has something to do with the puzzle, causing them to waste time on it. As for making it smaller, any unnecessary nooks and crannies can confuse the player.

Just a little advice from mapper to mapper.

Oh, and I used about 3-4 cubes I think, and was preparing a 5th when I say that all the turrets were dead already xD

Haha, so your saying it was easy... you would be shocked how many people had trouble when it involved all of 2 different things to do. So vote: add more puzzles to get to the punchline?

I'm afraid that I did it wrong. All I had to do was drop the cubes, put a portal in the long glass thing, put the cube in the blue gel and put it into the portal. The cubes then bounce around and kill all the turrets, allowing me to walk in with ease. Considering all the other things in this, I'm almost positive I did it wrong. Sorry ;)

Readjusted the hint and made the compressor quicker/ easier to load. I've noticed that people like quicker maps with shorter run times unless theres new things to see as you go. So I brought the 2nd pedestal button down to the floor where nobody will miss it.

I actually never found the path to the observation room. I'm going to give this chamber another try, and see if I was just being dumb the first time I played it. :)

cyc4015: there's a pedestal button elevated up where the observation window is that releases the cubes. Thought it was visible but maybe it should just come down to the floor. The bouncing cube was just supposed to be a hnt that you couldn't grab and use. I'll have to smooth that a bit. Really appreciate the input!

somehow, i managed to solve it without ever releasing the big bunch of cubes. I found the single cube bouncing by itself, managed to grab it, and then I put it into the compressor and it took care of the sentries for me. I would have loved to see all of those cubes do it, but I never figured out how to get them loose.

cyc4015: can you tell me how your playthrough went? There should never be a right or wrong way to do it but I'd like to hear what the most common play through is (as opposed to the one I had in mind)

I managed to finish this test with only the one cube. It was a lot of fun, and very tricky, but the ah-ha! moment was very good. Loved it!
