I have took the CC and sphere along with me until the fizzler, so i had to noclip to pass the turrets then i didn't cheat after that, 'ive finished and saw the bugged door, so i've made my way back and finished the secret ending without using any CC for nothing, i think i missunderstood the point of it like you said. Sorry.

Thanks for playing the map.
So I'm having a hard time understanding you properly, but you aren't supposed to take the companion cube and sphere with you. Were you able to finish the entire thing?
christian_saw Oct 4, 2015 @ 9:21pm
Too many things wrong as i see. I'm here coz i was using double exits and it didn't work so i've found this map. There's a lot of places to be trapped. It's probably impossible to take the first companion cube and sphere along the way. Taking the light bridge to prevent turrets from shooting you is impossible too coz there's a fizzler right next to them, besides, you don't need to climb the companion cube to press the pedestal button so what if the player falls? There are no portalable surfaces down there, I got trapped! I liked the design in the end (i've noclipped when i saw the door bugged just like mine) where you used excursion funnels in an endless come-and-go to keep the pistons moving eternaly. I do this kind of stuff too but with different things.

First time through I didn't solve the thing with the sphere so after playing I went back in. Managed to do it this time. Cool. The puzzles were perfect to keep you thinking without frustrating you. The whole map seems to flow very well. Timing sequences are spot on. I also had the weird exit door but as I had finished, no problem. Saw no shortcuts or exploits. Thanks for a great map. Visit me when you can. #F4F

Nice puzzle, not too hard. Difficulty 5/10 Design 8/10

Oh, and I've subscribe to your map, and will play it soon.

Thanks for playing!

Yeah, I don't know the exact stats, but I think it's happening for about every other tester. I'm not sure how to fix it, but since you've finished the test anyway, I don't think it matters much.

yeah, I loved the momentum room too ;)

As for the fall, that's a good idea. I am a bit near the item limit, but I should be able to make it longer.

So again, thank you!

Really good level:
Do you know the final exit door past the pistons isn't working? Just lighting blur that won't let you into the normal elevator sequence.
I really like the momentum room, it could be a level unto itself.
Recomendation: when you fall into the service tunnels it would be cool to have you drop further, its 3 cubes deep now, maybe 5 would be perfect.

Try this level, one solid concept with a fun ending to watch.

Very cool, I loved the momentum room as well.

Wow, that has to be the best update ever. I SEE ! ! !

I really like the momentum room, it feels much free-er, I don't see any ways to skip past it (which I now think I must have the first play through), and the timing is right on. Thanks for reminding me about the grates, it's amazing how not stuck I was this time :D The final room was quite fun, good use of pistons!

I checked out the new momentum section. I admit it is a large improvement. It has a nice sense of flow to it. It doesn't sacrifice the quick pace either which is quite an accomplishment. As for the rest. I'd say you have a very solid and well built map. Keep up the good work.

I got the Frankencube onto the button that lets me into the exit downstairs (past the pistons). The last exit door past the fizzler won't let me in. The door is open but I see graphic anomolies and I can't walk forward into it.

Replaying today...and wow, duh, thank you. I forgot you could do that!
[101st SPC] Sven  [author] Sep 22, 2012 @ 6:14pm
Yeah that area was supposed to be dark.
You need to grab the cube through the grate and move it into the laser, pointed at the laser catcher. That should disable the laserfield.

I'm not certain, but I seem to be stuck. I flung myself into a cage, with a hallway behind it going past many dropping cubes, one of which (a reflector) I can catch with a light bridge, but I don't seem to be able to do anything else. I could be missing something, though, it is quite dark.

Thanks for the comments!

Yeah I thought the momentum thing was a little bland. I was even planning on redoing it eventually, but now I think I'll do it sooner then later. ;)
levitatingspleen Sep 22, 2012 @ 3:29pm
Wow I was blown away by this map. The escape sequence was perfectly timed. The difficulty was at the right level keeping it fast paced but never too easy. The underground is well conceived and looks authentic. I do however have a few suggestions. The momentum section could perhaps be expanded on. It feels a bit too simple and isn't visually interesting enough to compensate. Overall a very satisfying experience and a great new take on the genre.

Did you read the description? Well, anyway the point isn't to solve the beggining puzzle, though you do have to do part of it.
Well, when you push the suspended button, it supposed to drop you into the underground automaticly. You actually can solve the puzzle, but it doesn't open the door...
Geneosis Sep 22, 2012 @ 10:36am
That's a nasty fake exit you have there X) Tried almost everything to open it... Then I visited the underground ;)

cobalt77: Really? Strange, in all the times I tested it the cube got destroyed if it landed behind the platform. Anyway, I'll be sure to fix that.

levitatingslpeen: Yeah, go ahead, I'd love some constructive criticism. Just remember that this is not the finished version, as it will be playtested over the week.

Thank you for submitting this to the contest! As part of a service avalible to all competitors If you want I can quickly review your chamber and give some constructive critisism. Or if you prefer I can reserve judgement untill november first.

Nice level, one problem is that the franken cube can become trapped behind the platform with the only fix being a restart.
