Thanks for playing, you're right, this was my fourth map, I was learning... I'm still learning.

I'm GLaD you like my maps... some of them anyway. Thanks again.

I didn't like the first room because there was no puzzle, just tight deadlines with timed buttons that don't show their timers. (I hate those, by the way -- I assume buttons that don't tick are permenent, so silent timers are a common source of frustration & getting stuck in angled panel doors) The laser puzzle was disappointingly straightforward, and the pool in the basement really didn't add anything at all.

Of course, this was only your fourth map. You've improved a lot since this one.

Very good puzzle! The platforms were very good and so the next rooms! Nice work to get the cubes to exit!

Great map. A real thinker. You must keep your eyes open and explore everywhere. So many unexpected twists. I had a lot of trouble with the timers in that first room but after splashing a few times I finally got it. The next room was a very good laser puzzle. I went around the loop a few times figuring it out. When I got to the two level laser puzzle I was stumped. When the solution came to me I thought 'why didn't I see that before?' Ha ha. You built a real nice one here. Favorite. Keep it up. My latest See ya round the workshop.

Thank you.

@Andi. So that explains them all. Yes very thoughtful :)

I added escape doors in each room except the first one. I didn't want anyone getting trapped so there are times were you won't have to use them.

I'm happy that you enjoyed the test chamber.

Really excellent level that. Just found the timing of the piston platform part was a bit too fierce for me!
I didn't need to use the pedestal button (opens a bypass door) near the vertical fling faith plate at the end of the puzzle. One use of the door next to the square cube button is all it takes, then portals.

@ Andi. Thanks for that. Cunning you are! Didn't suspect those piston platforms were there. I've made it down to the all white laser room now. Difficult....

You need four cubes to open the door. The only place you can make any progress is the room to your left as soon as you enter the chamber. The three buttons that are in a line control the elevators in this room, the other one drops the cube. You must be quick in this room for the elevators are on timers but they are not timed the same.

Seriously stumped here, I can't make anything happen at all. How about a starting hint?
Andi  [author] Nov 9, 2012 @ 7:55am
You're not a moron, you're just stumped. You'll find the solution.
Andi  [author] Nov 8, 2012 @ 9:43am
@gooddog, I understand... did you make it to the end? Thanks for making this one a favorite of yours.
Gamel0rd1 Nov 4, 2012 @ 1:05am

Tuveeanialex-- sorry, I thought I was responding to another comment in another map. My bad.
Andi  [author] Nov 3, 2012 @ 3:52pm
Thank you. I'm happy to hear you're enjoying this... at least I think you are. I'm always honored to have a chamber of mine in another players favorites.
Gooddog Nov 3, 2012 @ 3:44pm
OMG- this is driving me nuts! I am trying to set my portals for best field of view, and still find myself doing a bit of wandering. I'm not giving up ( - yet! ) If and when I do solve this, it looks worthy of my favorites collection (you horrible person).

And the REST of you- go get some cake : Here's Your Cake (With Vegetables)- now finalized with it's 180th publishing. I even give you some hints within the description.
If you like this one I think you'll enjoy it in my workshop

Thank you. I thought the same thing... about carrying all the cubes but then again, it was how I envisioned it.
Piranha.A Oct 7, 2012 @ 7:56am
I enjoyed playing this map ... even though towards the end the carrying around all those cubes became a bit frustrating. All puzzles were fair and not too difficult and covered a variety of elements. Very well done!
