Thanks HaVoK! I don't know about the timing yet, but releasing on Steam is definitely priority #1 now.
HaVoK308 Jun 14, 2014 @ 11:43pm
FINALLY! Hopefully you guys can release it rather quickly. :-)
Mogumbo  [author] Jun 14, 2014 @ 9:17am
Woohoo! Greenlit :) Okay, I'll get cracking on getting this up on Steam.
cyxceven Jun 13, 2014 @ 5:25pm
Congrats on the Greenlight!
NukaPunk Jun 10, 2014 @ 2:28pm
Thank you for including couch co-op! I will support any PC game that includes this because then my family can play together!

Great game if you're looking for something with a challenge that rewards skill.
CANABIANO May 21, 2014 @ 2:45pm

sam May 19, 2014 @ 10:02am
yeah, I love this kind of game since Asteroids and Thrust! looking good
Mogumbo  [author] Apr 29, 2014 @ 10:44am
That's a really cool hack :) Good to see someone is picking up NVidia's slack. Please keep me posted if you make any more progress with this, and let me know if there is a way I can help.
Rhialto Apr 28, 2014 @ 6:51pm
You guessed right, 3D Vision on Windows. I did a search on OpenGL and 3D Vision and found someone working on a wrapper, I posted a comment there:
Mogumbo  [author] Apr 28, 2014 @ 4:08pm
Rhialto, I don't have a stereoscopic system and have not tried this yet. It would help if you could give me more details about the OS and 3D system you are using. Retrobooster has both fullscreen and windowed modes.

If you're using NVidia 3D Vision on Windows, you are probably out of luck for now. NVidia 3D vision supports Direct3D ( but Retrobooster is an OpenGL game.

That's a little sad because I have a Sharp RD3D laptop from 2004 with an NVidia driver that does the same stereo trick with OpenGL programs. Maybe Sharp had to modify the NVidia driver themselves or something.

Hi! Played the demo for the first time and unfortunatly I was not able to have stereoscopic 3D works. I know the ship plane is not 3D (no Z-axis) but is the sceneray in 3D? I like to play everything I can in 3D.

At first I thought it was because the game run in window mode instead of real full screen mode, and it could be that but for now I tried to enable 3D all the time to see what would happen but it didn't work. Can you add a full screen mode (not windowed full screen)?

Windows AND Linux support. And it looks so glorious. Would totally buy this on Steam
Mogumbo  [author] Apr 2, 2014 @ 12:54am
Einexile, thank you very much for your support. Good to hear you're enjoying it so far.
ein Apr 1, 2014 @ 11:42pm
Well, I sprang for this and so far I am very pleased. The control is precise, the keys rebind, the sound effects are huge and satisfying. I had no performance issues, and even the starfield looks good. I'm impressed and looking forward to the rest of this game.

@†The werewolf† Man what I wouldn't give for a new take on SubSpace.

Glad also to see Solar Jetman mentioned here. This game is practically an instant purchase for me. Having been disappointed recently by some recent games like Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet and Ring Runner, I was a little hesitant, but the rule is if you say Solar Jetman you get my money.
Mogumbo  [author] Apr 1, 2014 @ 3:50pm
Yeah, I sent a bunch of review copies to YouTubers before the release and I'm always on the lookout for more reviewers of all types. I'd really like to see people do speedruns too. Just posted my own speedrun recently:
HaVoK308 Apr 1, 2014 @ 1:45pm
Everyone whould share this to their feed and ask their friends to Vote for it. You should give a copy to some youtubers as well. That always helps a lot.
Mogumbo  [author] Apr 1, 2014 @ 11:58am
HaVoK308, this game is 80% of the way to the top 100. it's inching its way there but could still use a really big boost.
HaVoK308 Apr 1, 2014 @ 9:30am
How close do you think you are getting Greenlit?
Mogumbo  [author] Mar 31, 2014 @ 11:21am
It's a mystery.
cyxceven Mar 31, 2014 @ 2:17am
Why isn't this on Steam yet?
Aeva Mar 17, 2014 @ 4:56am
Definitely interesting. Voted for Greenlight
Mogumbo  [author] Mar 7, 2014 @ 9:18pm
Hi guys. The orignal game in the cave-flyer genre is usually said to be Gravitar from 1982, which sort of combined Asteroids and Lunar Lander. I hadn't seen Roketz before, but there have been a lot of cool entries in the genre like Thrust, Solar Jetman, and Oids. I played a ton of Oids back in the day. For this game I tried to do my own thing by making fast, demanding flying mechanics and a good variety of levels that add complexity and make you think.
fuguelike Mar 6, 2014 @ 8:31pm
Maybe it's kind of a clone, maybe it isn't so bad though.

cool looking game, I really hope it gets greenlit! Keep being a badass!
Mogumbo  [author] Feb 10, 2014 @ 2:26pm
Thanks GnomeSlice. If I'm really lucky this Greenlight campaign will get a big boost when the game releases on February 21.
GnomeSlice Feb 9, 2014 @ 7:29pm
This looks so rad. Good luck getting greenlit!
Floid_Boi Feb 5, 2014 @ 5:04pm
This game certainly catches my interest
Doctor Dirty Jan 29, 2014 @ 8:04pm
Presented in OpenGEAHL! This reminds me of that old title "Hemispheres"
Mogumbo  [author] Jan 27, 2014 @ 7:48pm
Glad you liked it, mycon. I hope it's even better now. Testers have been helping me fine-tune the levels, weapons, and difficulty since then.
mycon Jan 27, 2014 @ 2:47pm
I met this guy and played this for a bit at a shin-dig here in SF, it was probably one of my favorite demos from the line-up.
Mogumbo  [author] Jan 21, 2014 @ 8:45am
Thanks for the votes everyone. Got some good posts on different game sites with the release of the new trailer yesterday. Looks like it's helping.
HaVoK308 Jan 21, 2014 @ 8:23am
Not Greenlit yet?! Damn travesty.
†The werewolf† Jan 21, 2014 @ 2:42am
Reminds me of SubSpace, but with updated graphics and new twists to the mechanics. Love it! Hope to see more of this soon!
Mike Jan 21, 2014 @ 2:36am
Gameplay, graphics and visual effects look very cool. Can't wait!
RoX Jan 21, 2014 @ 1:48am
LOL, I cought an article for this game on Joystiq and I'm thinking "this looks great, I need to get on Steam and give this game a thumbs up." So I pull up your Greenlight submission here and I find that I've already given it a thumbs up. Anyways, wish I could do more to help push this through but if not, I'll catch you on Desura. Joystiq article below:
ziagas Jan 10, 2014 @ 6:31am
cool game
Mogumbo  [author] Jan 9, 2014 @ 12:42am
My thoughts exactly. I just got tired of waiting for someone to make this game. If you like dodging enemy fire, you've come to the right place.
Felitero Jan 8, 2014 @ 5:52pm
Finally! I love games like these where you have to dodge stuff but with a SPACESHIP and BATTLES?!?!?!?!? +10,000 to awesomeness scale
Hindemith Jan 7, 2014 @ 10:15am
ver awesome + up to yes yes yes
RedTiberius Jan 7, 2014 @ 1:41am
