I've been wanting to play this for a while but i didn't have a dsi xl or wanted to get one. also i don't have money for a 3ds either. I don't want to play it an iphone either because touch controls for a platformer feel weird. So bacically pc and steam is the best option. hurry up and get this on steam

I have decided to write my thoughts on why Shantae is worth voting for. It's a long read so don't bother if you aren't interested in a lengthy piece on video game history. I hope this might encourage some of you to reconsider this game or tell more of your friends about it!

@mouthofxenu Yeah, this game is leaps and bounds ahead of most of the games that has been Greenlit already.

I personally think it's the way it is being presented here, if i didn't know anything about the game i'd think it was a game for little girls after having watched what's shown here, i know i wouldn't vote for such a thing, and i'm usually pretty good when it comes to detecting good games based on first impression.

There's not enough Gameplay shown and too much annoying voices for anyone unfamiliar with the game to vote for it... in my opinion.

We have to keep trying. Tell your friends to give this game a look. Better yet, play the original or watch the let's plays of it! That's what made me believe in this title. This game is just as deserving of a place on Steam as La Mulana.

I would buy it only if it gets a slight upgrade in graphics or more content. I love the game, but I already have it on my DSi. Still, I hope it becomes greenlit.

This is also disregarding that the artwork in this game is fantastic anyway. But I guess it's not a AAA CoD title so into the trash it goes!

I've always loved the Shantae games. Having this released on Steam would be EPIC!! I hope it gets green-lit for a release soon!

I hope people aren't down rating this just cause they think this is an iOS game and not a DSi port. I love this game, I hope WayForward can get this Greenlit so they can release their other masterpieces along with it. (If there is a chance, please port Double Dragon Neon, non-console owners will love it!)

So... is this going to be PC port of an iOS port of a DSiWare game or an HD remake or what? Maybe it'd get more votes if there was some more information on what exactly is coming to Steam instead of slapping on some media from other platforms and calling it a day.

That being said, WayForward makes some good ass games.

Love old school platformers with well drawn sprites. The style reminds me of Astel on Sega Saturn. Now I guess I will go unpakc one of the Saturns.
