The last screenshot has an amazing night sky! Is that in this mod or is there a different mod? (If so what mod?)
Kewpa 30. Nov. 2013 um 19:32 Uhr
Will we see a lite version for the rest of the cities?

Aplestormy, you are on my top 3 list of modders. Great mod!
Silariel 15. Aug. 2013 um 18:22 Uhr
I'm in love with this. Most of the mods I see just have too damn many trees - this looks more realistic for Whiterun's location (it doesn't have that forested look, just a nice landscaped appeal) and I love that you kept the foliage in agreement with what grows in the area naturally. It also runs very well, even considering I'm running Skyrim on a laptop that was never really meant for gaming. :) If you could please do the other cities in the lite version, well, I think you'd be my new hero. Thank you so much - what a pleasure not to see a barren marketplace anymore!

can you put this on the nexus pretty please?
Ryanbossxx 2. Aug. 2013 um 12:04 Uhr
can you make light versions for all the 9 holds of skyrim
willdude95 22. Juli 2013 um 6:04 Uhr
ok and what about whiterun exterior?
Aplestormy  [Autor] 21. Juli 2013 um 23:02 Uhr
"Q: Is this compatible with the original TAVE series?

A: Technically yes, but I wouldn't recommend using them together. Objects will Clip and your FPS will
Increase significantly. "
willdude95 21. Juli 2013 um 14:57 Uhr
do you need to remove the first version to use this one or can i just leave it in?

Lite version is a powerful improvement without sacrificing performance, im looking forward to the rest of the main towns. You are my new favorite moder :)
IronMerci [Who Was Phone?] 15. Juni 2013 um 12:31 Uhr
LOVE IT!!! (all I have to say)
dragonosis 12. Juni 2013 um 1:38 Uhr
I like this. your towns and villages enhanced was always a good series but I thought it always added too much as a reques, could you make 2 versions of riften? one how you usally do it and one where it's a rundown slum like I always imagine it to be.
Angel Phenix 7. Juni 2013 um 9:44 Uhr
does all your beautiful mods work with Open Cities mod? I f so that would be awesome!!!
AlFel Dov 2. Mai 2013 um 10:34 Uhr

Love this mod! The original TAVE are great but sadly my setup isnt the greatest, this lite version is perfect though! I would love to see more lite versions, big thumbs up!
win7x64 4. Apr. 2013 um 11:41 Uhr
a big fan of the lite version. thank you for your hard work.
mbntom 28. März 2013 um 15:44 Uhr

Aplestormy  [Autor] 27. März 2013 um 11:47 Uhr
@Bizzquick Thanks, it's much appreciated! :D
Grimjaw 27. März 2013 um 0:18 Uhr
This is awsome, a fan of the originals but i thought that the originals added a bit too much. This is just the right balance of beauty and lore better then vanila but not as intense as your original mod. Just awsome, please continue and do them all :P
Dajax02 25. März 2013 um 10:37 Uhr
Will this mod rebuilt the city after the civil war too? Or do I have to get another mod for that?
Bizzquik 24. März 2013 um 13:44 Uhr
Thanks for the "Lite" version of the mod - my computer can run this with no hiccups, stutters, or frame rate hits, unlike the regular Whiterun version. Would love to see more "Lite" versions, particularly Riften.

Happily donated. Thanks again. --Collin--
Tankeroo 16. März 2013 um 9:48 Uhr
Thank you. :) I like the original for the villages still but the lite version is just perfect and more immersive for towns. Can't wait for more!
TomScotland 27. Feb. 2013 um 13:34 Uhr
Make more lite versions!
theWarmaster [FoS) 21. Feb. 2013 um 11:49 Uhr
Whats the differnece between the lite version and the original? I'm also assuming I can't use both at the same time?
doyouwannabuyarabbit 13. Feb. 2013 um 0:50 Uhr
Love this version even more than the normal one - seems to fit the local flora better and the seating, etc seems carefully thought out. Just makes Whiterun feel more alive. Hopefully there's some more lite versions of other cities to come, as I'd love all my cities to look this pretty.
Geezer 4. Feb. 2013 um 13:25 Uhr
Went with the lite mod in Whiterun because the gorgious nord style buildings were not blotted out by the larger pines like in the regular version. Anyway, thanks again!
╣T☠T╠ Xelerite 31. Jan. 2013 um 10:02 Uhr
this new lite series is awesome :) to be honest, i prefer it to the normal edition, not because it's faster but because the normal edtion seems a bit too busy :/
Lord Walker 27. Jan. 2013 um 8:42 Uhr
My system has no problem running regular, but I like this one better because the "rural" setting that the regular one gives Whiterun doesn't seem to suit a city as well.
Mayingan 26. Jan. 2013 um 3:43 Uhr
Great mod!
Sterling 21. Jan. 2013 um 18:05 Uhr
Wow this mod is great! Your regular mods are too intense for my system running skyrim in 3d. The crippling drop in fps is absent with the lite version so i'm not stuck with a bland, vanilla whiterun.

I hope you end up doing more lite versions because this really improves the appearance of whiterun with a neglible performance impact.
Federico151084 19. Jan. 2013 um 5:32 Uhr
Nice mod! Any update on Solitude Lite? Thank you!
Aplestormy  [Autor] 6. Jan. 2013 um 13:40 Uhr
@Vanir Sorry TAVE and Open Cities are not compatible.
Vanir 5. Jan. 2013 um 9:51 Uhr
I really want this mod but when I load it there is no change to whiterun at all.
(I am using Open Cities btw).
Koniving 11. Dez. 2012 um 10:31 Uhr
Nexus version! Pwease?
Koniving 8. Dez. 2012 um 11:07 Uhr
Note to anyone who needs further performance enhancement. Press the ~ key. Click tree or object you think is bogging your frame rate. Type "disable" then type "markfordelete" Voila. Use disable to check and see if you like it gone (enable to bring it back) and mark for delete removes it so it no longer drags on any performance. Presto!
Koniving 8. Dez. 2012 um 10:59 Uhr
Question! Difference between the lite and normal versions? I'm assuming it's more 'older computer friendly'?
macberto 22. Nov. 2012 um 7:36 Uhr
Can't wait to get all the Lite versions!!!
Thunderchief 15. Nov. 2012 um 0:08 Uhr
Sorry Aplestormy but it just happened again. If I start the game and press "Continue" with my last save in Whiterun, my game won't start.
I then restarted the game and loaded my quick save from inside Dragonsreach and the game started immediately and let me zone in to Whiterun without any problems.
It's a very strange situation.
Aplestormy  [Autor] 13. Nov. 2012 um 23:34 Uhr
@thunder, you don't have to keep loading in a different cell. It's just the first time. You can save in whiterun whenever you want now.
Thunderchief 13. Nov. 2012 um 22:07 Uhr
I was having trouble loading my last saved games from yesterday something that has happened once before. The game just wouldn't load up. I thought the problem was with my latest installed mods but I just figured out that it was because my last 2 saves were in Whiterun with this mod installed. I reverted to my previous Auto-save in War Maidens store which is a smaller vanilla cell and my game loaded immediately.
Probably not a problem with the mod itself as I can exit the store and play Whiterun Lite just fine but maybe it has to do with how the game starts up.
From now on I will just make my last save inside a store whenever I quit for the night. Don't let this turn you away from this mod, it is very nice and I recommend it.

this doesn't have the ten billion trees that the original TAVE does? that would be great

I mean, your shrub/plant placement is great and it adds a lot, but the trees are way too crowded and placed in really unlikely or inconvenient for the city places

sticking out of the foot wide strip of grass between a stone wall and a house, for example, or in the center of a gate in a fence

also, making an enhanced mod for wilderness areas would play a lot to your strengths, lots of trees to place and plenty of shrubs and rocks
Fryman 30. Okt. 2012 um 22:10 Uhr
More lite versions.
DORSE HICK 21. Okt. 2012 um 19:25 Uhr
Please carry on with the lite versions!
Corrik 13. Okt. 2012 um 13:30 Uhr
Looks great. I've always found the cities a bit boring and while your other mods were good they were a bit busy for me. This is a great middle ground and I appreciate it. Keep up the great work and I hope to see more in this series.
scruffy_beast 7. Okt. 2012 um 16:13 Uhr
Love this MOD! Subscribed. Soon as I get an updated pc I'm grabbing all of your heavies. No conflicts. Running a laptop just barely above the recommended specs without any issues. Couple of Aspens next to Breezehome would be fantastic!
