Hi guys and gals! A quick note to say I have finished my other projects and I'm not tweaking PDF for Steam. Thanks for your support! So stoked to have a game greenlit!
Cyberbrickmaster86 Mar 4, 2015 @ 12:09am
You should make a new video, just so you can show us how far you've really gone in developing this game.
POLYGAMe d i g i t a l  [author] Feb 23, 2015 @ 3:17pm
Wow... greenlit. I'd almost forgotten about this as I submitted like 3 years ago! Haha. Game will need a bit of twealking, as it is one of my very first games and I have improved a lot as a developer since I made this but I think it's worth doing :) Thanks for the upvotes, everyone!!!
Cyberbrickmaster86 Oct 20, 2014 @ 9:40pm
Needs drifting! Slowing down to sharp turns can easily cost you the lead!

You can remove these objects that are close of course, it makes the game ugly.
This type game need only a good background wallpaper that represents the country, no more.

It is good if have a 1P vs Computer mode too.
Neozp Jul 4, 2014 @ 10:24pm
this game looks good = D
POLYGAMe d i g i t a l  [author] Jun 11, 2014 @ 7:27pm
Thanks for the nice comments. I actually made the game a couple of years back (have made a heap of games since) but figured I might reenable the Greenlight on this one "just in case". Haha.

What's your definition of "non-serious"? Some people like retro-inspired games, I do, that's why I made it. :)
Quasarborn Jun 2, 2014 @ 12:51am
Cool game, just not meant for steam. I mean Stunts 1990, All the road rash games from 1990 and Indy 500 from 1989 all look better or equal to this .. wish people would stop submitting non-serious titles on here.
ooktar Dec 16, 2012 @ 11:25pm
Looks cool, I think it looks like Pole Position.
▼iR■ Dec 8, 2012 @ 2:06pm
i kinda love retro-gfx :) 1up from meh~
jason moyer Dec 7, 2012 @ 11:45pm
Reminds me of Final Lap. Will buy this if it's put on Steam.
Pablocomics Dec 1, 2012 @ 4:33pm
The game has potential, but please, change the songs (and those FX)

Looks like a oldschool sega arcade game from the early 90's. Very lovely.
Etmer Nov 15, 2012 @ 1:54am
To be completely honest it doesn't look like there is anything new compared to the past. But... to be honest (again) it is something I could play on a mobile phone. There isn't really any "sharp" controls for the mobile. Like FPS shooters on it are sluggish and inaccurate. But anyway... in conclusion I don't think this game is fit for Steam. Steam seems to be aimed at older audiences, with a "modern game" taste. I guess that is why children games aren't successfull here either. Regardless... I think I could keep an eye on this. I'm pretty tired tonight. Maybe my review could change.
Etmer Nov 15, 2012 @ 1:54am
To be honest... I am not sure if this game is right for the Steam community. It seems like the Steam community wants innovative games for people 12+. Or perhaps a good and interesting action game (the modern generic stuff). And I have to agree with rabbit... 202mph in this game feels like 40mph in my opinion. But anyway...What makes this game stick out from the rest? It seems like it is an old game revived, but what is added to it? (Next half of comment next... steam has a commet lenght limit apparently)

Cheers :D
{PK} HastyPixels Nov 10, 2012 @ 6:26pm
I'll keep track of new videos for these updates. This is a game with some potential. I'm revising my vote. I have a habit of upvoting devs who care. ^^
POLYGAMe d i g i t a l  [author] Nov 9, 2012 @ 8:16pm
Hi HastyPixels, that video is from an early WIP version. I really ought to update it... no time lately, working on the new project but yeah, things in the audio dept have changed a fair whack ;-)
luckz Nov 9, 2012 @ 3:14pm
Blades Nov 8, 2012 @ 4:30pm
Dang, HastyPixels posted it first. :C
{PK} HastyPixels Nov 5, 2012 @ 4:36pm
I've got to say, the audio seems inconsisent. Diggin' the old school music (including the Robert Miles copypasta, it's a good sound). However the sound effects don't mesh well at all with the high fidelity music. Consider amping up the quality of your sound effects to reflect your intended console more accurately. It does help to target a specific console - it better ensures you'll impress your demographic, rather than just grabbing at the retro gaming nostalgia with a game that arguably easy to develop.
Gui Oct 17, 2012 @ 4:17pm
If it can be made to resemble Ayrton Senna for the Master System or Monaco GP on the Mega Drive/Genesis, including a possible cockpit view and a career mode where you may switch teams, hell yeah.
thebxrabbit Oct 15, 2012 @ 7:43pm
I know it's nitpicky, but the mph readout on the HUD is throwing out some ridiculous numbers. At no point in the video did it feel like the car was going anywhere near the 202 mph that was shown as the cruising speed. I'd call it 80 mph at most, and that's being generous. If that gets fixed I'll consider giving it a vote, but right now it just bugs me to no end.

@outlander999 - Good idea! The UK track has textured road to emulate cobbled streets but yes, the rest of the tracks could do with some texture added to the roads.
kjblynx Oct 14, 2012 @ 1:26pm
There are some things that could be improved, but so far I like the retro feel.
Outlander999 Oct 13, 2012 @ 10:08am
Seems fun. The vehicle react quickly, the graphics has the retro touch, musics are very good.
YES for me.

But you can improve the asphalt quality, that grey mass seems too 'empy', try to add an asphalt texture
AuroraBoreal #ForçaChape Oct 11, 2012 @ 9:08pm
Top Gear? Really?
POLYGAMe d i g i t a l  [author] Oct 9, 2012 @ 4:31am
@aggro_badger - the Android version is available now ;-)
Clockwork Gamer [Qc] Oct 8, 2012 @ 8:48pm
Cute but I wouldn't *pay* for it. The game looks very well designed and everything but it seems like something that would show up in the most popular games for a free games site, not a paying platform.
DaftMau5 Oct 5, 2012 @ 3:51pm
Looks like much fun but, i dont know, i dont really care about graphics but this looks a bit too "old" for me, but i will try it. Upvote :P
aggro_badger Oct 3, 2012 @ 8:50am
Oh cool, I remember the game this seems to be based on.
Upvoted! But would actually be more interested in an andoid version! (with the controls in the corners of the screen).
Sherkdapus Oct 2, 2012 @ 12:50pm
i love the older games they seem more fun to play than the newer ones and i dont care what other peps have to say about that :D
POLYGAMe d i g i t a l  [author] Sep 30, 2012 @ 8:50pm
@.:Hiroyasu:. - HAHA, I dunno, I've been schooled by a few kids on the modern systems. LOL. But yeah, I love current gen stuff and retro alike. Retro styled stuff is obviously easier to make with a small team and no money... fun to play, too!
Hiroyasu Sep 30, 2012 @ 9:10am
Classic games are great, also good for teaching kids how to play video games .
POLYGAMe d i g i t a l  [author] Sep 27, 2012 @ 9:33pm
@Yippie-Kai-Yay - You can get it for a whole cent LESS than a dollar right now, if you own an Android phone :P

Matushka Russia Sep 27, 2012 @ 8:07am
I would buy this for $1. No more.
DoominaBottle Sep 27, 2012 @ 4:24am
So more tracks in updates then thats a definate thumbs up. :)
POLYGAMe d i g i t a l  [author] Sep 25, 2012 @ 3:34pm
@rjames13 : Really has to be gamepad. I tried with keyboard and it can be configured that way but the KB matrix can't handle that many presses at once :P I agree though! I took my gaming rig (when I had one - lol) up to a friend's place and we sat there searching through all the racing games for ones with split screen play... ended up just playing Mario Kart on emulator. LOL
POLYGAMe d i g i t a l  [author] Sep 25, 2012 @ 3:32pm
@Kingsull : As a Sega fanboy, I'd be interested to know which game you speak of? I certainly haven't seen it...
rjames13 Sep 25, 2012 @ 6:19am
Not enough games these days have split screen multiplayer. What control system do you use for 2 players?
Genesis Sep 25, 2012 @ 3:32am
@POLYGAMe d i g i t a l : Maybe not this "exact" game but, pretty focking cl0se.
