Puzzle was easy once I figured I just had to stand on something to make it work. Multiple lazer crossings are never difficult. I just aim for as many in-line then portal then randomly portal again till it crosses the rest (logically of course). It'd saved me time if I hadn't overlooked the "stand on object" rule. I scratched my head for 15 min trying to get up there. Thumbs up.

Played the map.. Very fun. Thanks for making. Read many of the comments, and I just can't fathom what isn't obvious about this map. However, as you stated in a recent response to a frustrated tester, I'll agree that sometimes the brain gears dont engage properly and the obvious is completely missed... I'ts happened to me on a few occasions. lol My blind run prolly took me all of 5 minutes. Great job! :-)

The physics aspects of this puzzle were fasciniating, if *just* this side of non-intutive. My problem with this puzzle were the offset laser beacons. It took me 15 min of trial and error to find a pattern to hit all of them. It should be second nature to portal players to do lasers, but to have to stumble onto the solution isn't right either.

The really maddening one was the slight offset of the square and moon beacons.

I think I found a solution that I'm not sure you intended, but the physics imply that you did. It involves that first launch across the room. Well done on that one.

Sokar, the objectives are not obscure at all. You know you have to get lens cubes to redirect the laser, and the drops for those cubes are easily seen. You can even see the switch for one.

It took me ten minutes to figure out how to get that first cube, and even then it should not have taken that long. After that, no single aspect of the puzzle took more than a few minutes to figure out. I think this is a case where you just over-looked something. It has happened to me before as well, where when I finally figured it out, I could not believe the solution had not already dawned on me. I bet there are puzzles you found easy that other very experienced testers had trouble with.

srs busnss, I think your test chamber was well-designed. The objectives were clear, the spaces wide open yet still interesting. What made the puzzle a bit tougher, and fun, was truly having to think with portal and physics. Thank you for your effort.

Well, the solution can't be obvious, then it isn't a challenge. But I didn't intentionally try to make it obscure as possible. In fact, I think it isn't that hard to figure out (but I'm biased because I made the map). I'm sorry if you found it too difficult, but that's the point of a puzzle.

Because it makes absolutely no sense. I've been playing portal since the first one came out, I've played hundreds of single and coop test chambers; both official and community made, and I have never once sat in the same room with literally zero idea what to do for over an hour. Literally the first time I have ever skipped a test chamber.

If your puzzle is difficult because the objectives are vague, it's not a very good puzzle....

I'm not quite sure I did the right thing at the beginning... I was on the panel above the lasers and put a orange portal on the panel and a blue behind the lasers... Short angle

Yeah, that was one of my main gripes with this chamber. I wanted to make it a little more difficult somehow, so I added the part with having to move the cube from the fizzler button to the laser button whilst keeping a portal open on the angled panel but that can be bypassed which eliminated some of the challenge.

Pros:
