I don't know if it is there yet any chance of a Steam release for Zombeer, but Moonbite Games office it's officially closed. I tried to do an internship there a few months ago and they were already closed.

To be honest ... well ... 2billion dollars is a lot of money ... but frankly, we have developed Zombeer because it's the crazy game we wanted to play, money is important but it's not all ;)

No, the consoles dont required us to wait.
we've finished the Steam SDK integration ... now we're ready to send the game to Unity :))

Meantime we were talking with a few publishers ... frankly: we are a very small developers team ... and we need a few help to release the PC version offering a good service :)))
Anyway, we're in the last days before the PC release !!!

Finalmente recordar que los análisis/reviews son importantes y veo que por ahora, el juego en la única plataforma en la que ha sido lanzada -ps3- no goza precisamente de positivas opiniones, al menos, por parte de 'la prensa especializada'. Siempre hay 'formas' de cambiar esos números en caso de que el producto no llegue a la perfección que concebimos en su día... ahí de nuevo entra el marketing para cambiar un número por otro.

Cómo ya digo, buscar amplitud de mercado es esencial en casos de pequeños desarrolladores, y por tanto, sin marketing estáis perdidos.

Y tras este ladrillo os dejo ( si queréis borrarlo porque os emborrona el muro de comentarios, sin problemas)

Espero que algún que otro consejo os sirva, a ver si vemos a Zombeer vender bien y gustar al público en general, jeje.

Quizás para próximos proyectos deberíais tener en cuenta servicios relativos al crowfunding/financiación colectiva, dónde tu presentas tu idea y ves desde un primer momento si va a tener aceptación o no para los futuros potenciales clientes, además de gozar de un feedback inmejorable en caso de se incluyan accesos anticipado al juego.

Una opción que debe ser vuestro último recurso para lanzar a conocer el juego es citarlo en Humble Bundle como juego incluido, digo último recurso porque ya sabemos lo que suele pagar la gente por los productos en ese servicio y el poco beneficio que obtienen los creadores, y una vez un juego entra ahí es muy dificil que los consumidores vuelvan adquieran el producto a un precio superior - al menos en los caso de juegos indie, en el Humble Bundle de EA no pasó eso puesto que eran juegos AAA - ; es un concepto que se aleja de las 'rebajas' de otros portales y puede ser un arma de doble filo.

Internet da muchísimas posibilidades, solo hay que enfocarlo bien; por otro lado creo que no hace falta comentar la importancia de acudir a toda feria a la que se pueda asistir y promocionar el producto.

Sobre el tema del distribuidor no sé como irá Greenlight pero no significa que tengáis que ceñiros solo a él en lo relativo a la versión PC, podéis dirigos a distintos GO*, GreenManG** (no completo los nombres pues al ser competidores de STEAM no se si en las bases legales estará permitido si quiera el nombrarlas) y portales de mismo cometido, distribución digital de juegos para PC; tener en cuentas otras plataformas emergentes como son las del mercado móvil y tablets, etc.

Tenéis distintas formas que solo os tomarían tiempo y no dinero.

Para empezar la cuenta de Twittter parece una nimiedad pero hoy en día en esencial, tenéis que subir esos followers y en general la actividad como sea, un buen community manager hace milagros.

Truquillos son comentar en twitters de blogs de videojuegos o temática relacionada con vuestro producto para ir creando una red más amplia, lo mismo sería aplicable a facebook. También por otro lado tenéis la posibilidad de utilizar el boom de los 'youtubers' para contactar con varios por si les interesa, en muchos caso lo harán gratis simplemente porque les nombreis en vuestros twitters, en caso de aquellos con más popularidad pues es posible que se nieguen si el juego no está a la altura o que a cambio, le ofrezcais el juego sin coste alguno.
